Dr. Larry Mengpo Yu, MD

I had fits with an ear infection that would not go away. Was seeing another ENT and he just kept feeding me antibiotics. After 4 months I was convinced they were not going to work (and luckily I have a PPO), so I called Dr. Yu's office as he had taken really good care of my son when he needed tubes. It is very hard to find a doctor in this town who actually cares. Dr. Yu listens to everything I have to say, thoroughly explains all possible treatment options, and explains everything he is doing and what you should experience as he is doing in-office procedures. I had to take my son with me for an appointment and he let my son look in my ear and explained to him what he was seeing. He wasn't able to fix all my problems but he did get the infections to clear out, and referred me to an Allergist. I would definitely recommend Dr. Yu to anyone needing and ENT.

Dr. Yu was fantastic and I rarely get sick since my tonsillectomy

After a really bad experience with another local ENT doctor, I had my fingers crossed when I made my appointment today with Dr. Yu. However, he quickly diagnosed my problem...put me at ease enough so I was willing to have him go ahead with what has ALWAYS previously been a very painful procedure...and achieved what I see as literally and amazingly almost painfree results. It's been my sad experience that GOOD doctors who are both competent AND caring(!!) are very hard to find in the Las Vegas area. I feel like crying Eureka! that Dr. Yu will now be treating me for the foreseeable future.

I was diagnosed with cancer in my neck, Dr Yu treated me and I was in the best of care. I would recommend him to anyone without hesitation and I have. I have told this to every doctor I meet that if they have to refer anyone for ENT, Dr. Larry Yu would be my first choice. He preformed a modified radical neck dissection on me for cancer. My treatment was second to none, the peace of mind I had with him helped me through a very trying time and very stressful time.
