Dr. Post is AWESOME!!!

I saw Dr. Post at the ER in Reston because of a rib injury. After x-rays it was determined that I had one fractured rib and chest contusion. Needless to say I was in an extreme amount of pain. This was early Saturday morning. She prescribed me motrin and 15 vicodin. The instructions for the vicodin said to take 1-2 every 4-6 hours as needed for pain. I was in an extreme amount of pain so I took 2 every 4 hours along with the motrin and that barely made the pain bearable. I was finished with the 15 vicodin by 4PM on Sunday. I called the ER at 5PM on Sunday to request a refill and Dr. Post refused to give me a refill unless I came in again. I had no problem going in again except that I was going to have to pay another $100 copay! I pleaded with the nurse and told her that my PCP wasn't open until Monday, but Dr. Post refused to give me a refill over the phone. I had no choice at that point because of the amount of pain I was in and had to go back to the ER and pay another $100 copay. As I was going back to the examination room, I saw Dr. Post leaving and she was obviously was avoiding making eye contact with me. I have come to realize all she was interested in was making more money and that is why she wanted me to come back in. This is exactly why healthcare costs are so high in america. Its because of money hungry doctors like Dr. Post. As far as the care goes, she literally saw me for 30 seconds. I understand this was an ER, but I was 1 of 2 patients there at the time! Please stay away from this doctor and I hope INOVA Reston ER thinks twice about keeping this doctor on board.
