Dr Markovitz and his staff are both professional and personable from the receptionist up to the doctor himself. They make you comfortable and he explains every detail. The results for me was instant. Thankful they could help me.

As a very active 66 year old male, I've had genetic related varicose veins for 52 years. I never had any issues until the last 20 years. Time created ropes and knots of ugly twisted branches of veins from top of the thigh to the ankles. The severe discomfort continued to worsen and became unbearable even when wearing support hose. I sought medical help years ago, but was discouraged because of the invasive methods that would have to be done including the recovery time. Dr. Markovitz was not the first consultation visit but he would be the last. When we met I was not only impressed with his medical credentials but his confidence in the procedure that would alleviate my condition with minimal recovery time. Time proved that what he said would be an understatement. Dr. Markovitz explained with simplicity exactly all that would be involved then answered all my questions ...positive and negative. I gave him a most difficult task (I thought) to accomplish, I was proven wrong. After each procedure I followed his instructions exactly and I was able to go back to work IMMEDIATELY. I am now pain free and not wearing any more support hose for the first time in years. My legs not only feel 120% better but look great! I am truly amazed and still can't believe it; I can stand and sit for long periods without any discomfort, swelling and pain for the first time in many, many years! Dr. Markovitz was meticulous with precision and excellent care with me. I am truly grateful for what I consider a miraculous job, A++. Not to mention the wonderful receptionist, staff, and technician that were excellent in the performance of not only their jobs and customer service, they genuinely cared for my well-being.

My experience with Dr. Lawrence J. Markovitz at the Virginia Vein Care office in McLean was memorable for how well things were explained and how easy the procedures were. The staff is very nice and Dr. Markovitz works as if I was the only patient in the office in that he takes his time and explained everything to me and my husband very clearly. When it came time to do the procedures (my insurance made me wait three months) it was so easy I could hardly believe it. I had three Closure procedures Closure done and was a little nervous for the first one. again, Dr.Markovitz explained while he was working. Joanna, (who does ultrasound) explained things also while I was getting ready for the procedure. I think it only took ten minutes and I barely noticed he was doing anything. Of course my second two procedures were a complete snap. My legs now feel really good after years of feeling tired and heavy in the afternoon and they look much better than they have since I was in my twenties. Overall, I would recommend that people with leg problems go see Dr. Lawrence Markovitz at Virginia Vein Care.

Like others, i had seen other vein doctors and Dr, Markovitz is not only the friendliest and most knowledgeable, he also just plain does the procedures BETTER than anyone else I have encountered. I have previously had this proceduer done at another clinic in virginia and just wanted to let everyone know that the same Closure procedure doen at Virginia vein care on my other leg was so much easier, quicker and more painless. The doctor really knows what he is doing and is obviously an expert at it.

Over the past few months I have had both laser and radiofrequency procedures as well as spider vein treatment. Everything went easily, just as Dr.Markovitz had described in my first visit. he explains things very clearly, answered all my questions and really takes his time. All my veins are gone and my legs really feel better.I was in the Mclean office where the staff was very nice. I really recommend Virginia Vein Care.

I had a groupon for spider vein removal, but the ultrasound showed underlying issues with veins in both legs. This resulted in me having the VNUS closing procedure done in both legs. Everything went very well, legs look and feel better already. No more ankle swelling on hot days! After the spider vein treatment I am looking forward to wearing skirts and dresses again in summer. Dr Markovitz and his staff come across as very knowledgeable professionals with good personal manners.

Recently had two procedures done in the Purcellville office for really ugly veins on my left leg. Everything went really well and I'm thrilled with how my leg looks now. Office staff is very friendly and Dr. Markovitz is caring and made the procedures extremely easy.
