Dr. Leo Rozmaryn, MD

Dr. Leo Rozmaryn is a fine surgeon. I came to him 8 days after being in the ER, where I was diagnosed with a fractured wrist. He reviewed X-rays and gave a more precise account of the fracture than the ER and expressed his interest in doing the surgery that I needed as soon as possible, even the next day if that was possible (which it was not). I saw him before the surgery and then at my follow up appointment after the surgery and two more times. (I also had hand therapy at the office, which has a great team of PT and OT and hand therapists as well as surgeons.) Dr. Rozmaryn did a great job putting my wrist back together, plate and all. He is clearly a highly skilled surgeon, who specializes in wrist and hand surgery. He could and should be trusted by anyone who needs wrist, hand, (or elbow surgery) or who is the parent of a child who needs wrist, hand, or elbow surgery. He also makes good conversation and has a good sense of humor. His biography is also very impressive.

Dr. R is very experienced and hits the hammer on the nail. He has treated my son for two different injuries so far and he has been successful both times. He also gives helpful advice.

Leo Rozmaryn is a consummate professional and the best hand doctor. He is knowledgeable, patient, compassionate, respectful, and understanding. He takes the time to explain clearly what your situation is and his proposed treatment, and he answers your questions in a straightforward manner.

I will definitely recommend Dr. Rozmaryn to anyone who has any problems with their hands. This summer I broke the joint of my little finger (left hand) in a bad fall. I was a patient of Dr. Rozmaryn´s already since two years ago he performed very successful surgery in my right hand with no pain. I was confident he was going to do a great job with my little finger and he has. He is very thorough and knowledgeable, he knows what he is doing, he has a lot of experience and inspires a lot of confidence. He has put it a replacement silicon joint and now, 3 months later, I have no pain (had very little from the beginning, never even finished my pain medication right after the surgery) and my finger is almost back to normal.

This Doctor is fine for a hand sprain or a surgery but if you have anything remotely complex, you should probably avoid him.

Dr. Rozmaryn recently performed a fasciectomy on my right hand to remove dupuytren's contracture. He did an excellent job. I never had any pain not even the night of the surgery. I did not have any pain during the physical therapy sessions either. My hand and my finger have recovered extremely well. The scar is almost not noticeable now two months after surgery. I think Dr. Rozmaryn is very knowledgeable. He was also able to identify the problem that caused some mild pain in my elbow in a second. I followed his recommendations and my elbow pain is gone as well. Great doctor.

Dr. Rozmaryn is an Excellent surgeon and doctor. Every time I have an appointment he listens to my concerns, answers my questions and comes up with a plan to make everything better. I have had 2 surgeries on my right wrist and while my bone was slow to heal after the second surgery he assured me that it would heal. It has now healed and I am able to get back to playing tennis and doing other activities I enjoy. I highly recommend Dr. Rozmaryn

Dr Rosmaryn is wonderful. It is his staff that needs assistance. When a person makes an appointment, they should not have to wait over an hour and then not even see the doctor. The issue on multiple occasions was that someone with a later appointment showed up early so they took patients in order of arrival not order of appointment. Very disappointing especially since the doctors are so great.

Dr. Rozmaryn took the time to explain the problems with my wrist and the DeQuervain's tenosynovitis. We tried a procedure and then decided on surgery. Everything was explained and his care and follow-up were excellent. The surgical center was convenient and well-staffed. I was very impressed with the care and time spent on each patient.

Dr. Rozmaryn is simply amazing. He takes the time to explain exactly what is wrong and how he will fix it. A year after fixing injuries to my thumb and wrist, I slammed my hand against the edge of a sliding glass door (with the help of a big dog at the other end of the leash). I sent a text to Dr. Rozmaryn explaining what happened with pictures and asked if I should go to the ER for x-rays (it was after 6pm). He told me to come to the office right away (I was about 15 minutes away at the time). He and the staff stayed to see me and take x-rays even though the office closes at 5pm. It's nice to know that there are still doctors out there who care to go the extra mile for their patients. Not to mention the fantastic job he had done on my more serious injuries from a year ago - I have full functionality of my hand and wrist. Two thumbs up for Dr. R!!!

Dr. Rozmaryn removed a mucous cyst on the thumb of an 88-year old patient--my sister. From the first visit through the follow up, Dr. Rozmaryn was patient and caring. He explained every step, visited twice during the day of surgery. He was terrific!

Dr. Rozmaryn did an excellent job in correcting a trigger-finger in my dominant hand. He and his staff were the epitome of professionalism throughout the process, from my initial visit through the removal of my sutures. My function has been fully restored, with minimal discomfort. Great job!

I have used and recommended this practice extensively over the last 15 years. For myself, Dr Barry Boden reconstructed both my left and right ACL's and reattached my superspinatus to my humerus. All three surgeries were complete successes. Dr Rozmaryn successfully operated on my friend's broken wrist and Dr Levin performed spinal surgery on that friend.

This doctor operated on my arm and it was a disaster. The operation was a failure and he would not admit that the operation was not successful.

He did surgery on my hand and wrist after it had been broken and incorrectly set by another doctor.He gave me back use of my hand and relief from on-going pain.

I cannot recommend Dr. Rozmaryn highly enough. Though not an expert in medicine myself, it seems quite obvious that Dr. Rozmaryn is not only extremely knowledgable and skilled, but is willing to take the time to answer questions and provide explanations that enable the patient and family to be confident in his decisions and abilities. His caring manner and individual attention for my son was much appreciated. (By the way, in my opinion, any wait is well worth it to get Dr. Rosmaryn's personal attention.) His expertise appears to be state-of-the-art, and I could not have hoped for more.
