Dr. Leslie Cuevas

I think Dr Leslie is the best rheumatoid Dr I have ever had. Unfortunately I had to leave Dr Leslie for insurance purpose's. That has been 2 years ago. After seeing another Dr, I have never had such a caring compassionate, knowledgeable Dr that will spend time with you and listens to you. The treatment that I received after I left Dr Leslie was nothing compares to how she treats her patients.. I would drive across the state to see her again, best Dr that really cares about her patients. Once you visit with her your like family. Best Rheumatoid Dr I have ever had!

Dr Cuevas is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. I am so grateful to have found her. Autoimmune diseases are scary and lonely. She has been supportive to guide and help me through this unknown process. She literally text messages me! I've never had a doctor more available. She is warm, funny and most importantly smart. When she diagnosed me, she allowed and encouraged me to use different approaches (diet, acupuncture) and mind/body techniques as well as medication to heal and make me feel better. I couldn't recommend her more highly.

Everything about Cuevas Center is arranged to provide patients the most time, attention and care as possible. So happy!!!

Not helpful, defensive, and smart mouthed! First and and last visit for me!

Dr. Cuevas is very caring and takes the time to answer your questions. She has very good bed side manner. Her staff is also friendly and welcoming.

I have been wanting to leave a review for a while. Dr Cuevas is the best rheumatologist ever! She listens. She explains everything well She always shares my results with me. She makes me feel cared for and cared about. I will follow her anywhere!

Dr Cuevas makes me feel important and special. She never makes me feel rushed. I’m so happy to be under her care.

Dr Cuevas was initially nice on my first visit. But my labs came back negative mysteriously after being positive with my Primary. She told me she would never treat me even if my labs were retested and positive. She then told my Primary my symptoms were caused by depression. They are not. I f you a looking for a doctor that cares and will really listen and help you find out what is causing your illness, continue looking elsewhere. If you’re one of the lucky that already have a diagnosis, she might be great for you.

Dr. Cuevas is great. She talks to you, listens and tries everything to help. I would recommend her.

Dr. Cuevas and her staff are very courteous and on first name basis. She is very thorough and takes her time with each of her patients.

Dr. Cuevas was friendly at first, but after discovering that she and her staff failed to follow through with attempting to get my medical records, I was disappointed when her nurse was extremely rude to me and I voiced a complaint to the DMA and was told that Dr. Cuevas only rented office space there, but clearly there was no call for her nurse to treat patients that rudely. On top of being treated rudely, I was informed that I was being let go as a patient because I had made her nurse angry. Poor judgement on the part of the Doctor and extremely poor bedside manners for the nurse.

If you want a doctor who knows her stuff and truly cares about you... You found her. My daughter is autistic it is VERY hard for me to find a doctor that she likes. She is terrified of doctors. But she likes this one. People with RA truly suffer. We need more doctors like this lovely person

Wow. Dr Cuevas is SO personable. Does a great job finding out what's going on and explaining.

Arrived 20 minutes early for my appt only to having to wait nearly an hour in the waiting room and an additional 30 minutes in the exam room. I didn't feel that Dr Cuevas listened to my symptoms and in the end, said she didn't know the cause of my medical problem but gave me a sample of meds of something she was sure I didn't have. She did lots of bloodwork and told me to FU in 2 weeks. I went to make the appt and due to my work schedule needed a Thursday or Friday only and was told those days were only for new patients. I asked the scheduler could she please check with the doctor for an exception, she said "no". I told her I won't FU then, she said "fine". I had to call on multiple occasions and leave messages for 2 weeks to get my lab results. I also signed a release to have my labs sent to my PCP, had to make multiple attempts and it took another 3 weeks for that. The overall waiting time, "un"diagnosis, medication for a condition I didn't have, lack of FU and lack of response for results and records- I would never see her nor recommend her.

Excellent medical terminology, not a long wait, able to get to see her quickly, bedside manner the best. I would highly rec her to others
