Dr. Linda Jane Tong, MD

Dr. Tong is very nice and the anaesthesiologist was great as well. My procedure went just fine. I had a wonderful nurse.

I must say I was very nervous crying all over the place first time there the Dr.Tong was very polite friendly and good the staff was amazing to me they made me feel so special after my crying spell,I didn't feel anything Praise God the Doctor and staff Thanks ????

Initially it was difficult to get a hold of scheduling for a date after my referral (could be due to short staff or just busy, I understand that). Once the scheduler called me, all went smoothly after that. The team was willing to work with my schedule to get the date/time I wanted. I loved that my preparation is the miralax and Gatorade (I requested this from my primary care provider). On the day of the procedure, I arrived and got checked in with no issues. The staff is SUPER PROFESSIONAL AND NICE. They constantly checked on me and informed me of what to expect (this is my second procedure). I realize that Dr. Tong is maybe not much of a talker, doesn’t bother me. Could be just being busy there too. But I would recommend “try” to say “a little more” to patients as the provider; pre and post procedure (if you can). For post-procedure, I was given a detailed explanation of what happened, what to expect and when I should expect a follow up call. The sedative used (propofol) is now my favorite for future (of course there may be newer/different ones my next time). But I was out as explained to me, and upon recovery I felt very awake/alert and felt good. My last procedure I was drowsy and came home to sleep all day. I am now wide awake and alert at this point (I have been home for 2 hours). I fully support and recommend this facility/team to anyone who will be scheduling a future procedure. As a matter of fact, I was so pleased that I told them I was ready to schedule my next 5-year visit right now. I do hope this team is still around when I am due, because I am DEFINITELY going back to them. A FIRST CLASS EXPERIENCE FOR ME!!!

I was in for a procedure and had elected to not be sedated for it. Unfortunately, the first nurse I dealt with was not very supportive of my decision, however Dr Tong and the following two nurses were absolutely wonderful about all of it. Dr Tong was great about getting to patients and answering any questions in a timely manner.

She came in and talked with me and explained everything to me and made me feel as if she was caring for her own family. It meant alot when I was scared about it all

This woman doesn't care. She missed my initial cancer diagnosis, and now that I am having symptoms of a recurrance, she is ignoring me. Several phone calls to her office, conversations with her nurse, I was assured that my problem was"high priority", but she still does not call be back. Inexcusable, incompetent, unforgivable. Please choose someone with more empathy than this doctor.

Dr. Tong and her staff are the most AWESOME medical professionals I have ever encountered. I rate them as a 10 and over...............

Dr. Tong is a God-send. I get highly nervous around doctors and having medical procedures done, and she makes me feel greatly at ease. I love her cheerful and caring bedside manner. She has always put my concerns and needs first, and I trust her with my life. She has treated me on two occasions so far, and the results of her treatment have been great. I am highly pleased with her, and would recommend her to anyone.

I selected Dr. Tong for my colonoscopy as she came highly recommended to me by a good friend. I found her to be a very thorough doctor. She is professional, while also personable and friendly. I felt very comfortable with her and would recommend her to anyone.

Does not know much about her field. Would not go to her if my life depended on it. ...oh wait. It did. Thank God I found Doctor who knew what he was doing or I wouldn't be here to write this review! One star is too much!

Little Concern for patient and clearly uninformed about Hep C. Did not care about my health and told my family I would die and walked away. I did not die. I am cured, but only because I saw another doctor. She abandoned her Moline practice with no letter or notice to patients . She let my health go to almost the point of no return. If you need more than a simple procedure, then find someone more qualified and caring. She only gets one star because I had to mark something!
