Dr. Lisa Beth Freedman, MD

I've been a patient of Dr. Freedman's for over a year, and my only disappointment is that I did not find her sooner! It is always a wonderful experience from start to finish. I began seeing Dr. Freedman after my previous PCP of several years relocated. Finding a new physician & having to start over from the beginning can be daunting and overwhelming, but from my very 1st appointment, it felt like I had known her for years. Not only has she taken great care of my health, but also she is lovely to speak with at every appointment. She's the only doctor that actually listened to & addressed my health concerns. The office staff is welcoming, friendly, and very prompt. I always leave with a complete understanding of my care and an answer to each & every question/concern. Scheduling an appointment is always a breeze, and I've never had to wait >15 minutes to be seen. She even was willing to flex her schedule when I was late for an appointment due to traffic. She's easily accessible, unlike most doctors where you have to call multiple times to speak to the doctor, only to get nothing in return. I sent her a message online and she got back to me herself immediately (on a weekend at that)! Most importantly, she welcomes your input and doesn't just dictate what she thinks is best for you...she makes your health & well-being a team effort. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and individualized care for a patient while also providing outstanding medical care. I highly recommend becoming her patient!

Dr. Freedman is an excellent doctor. She was very thorough with my exam. She actively listened to my problems and provided me with the whole picture so that I could understand. The staff at this office are very nice, pleasant and friendly.

I have been a patient of Dr. Freedman for many years. She is very intelligent, and makes a point of staying current concerning changes and advances in the medical field. Dr. Freedman also has a refreshingly open way of conversing with her patients. She listens to specific patient needs and goals… then combines that knowledge with her extensive medical and holistic knowledge in order to tailor winning solutions for the patient. I would say she is a very rare practitioner, and has certainly helped me to navigate through options for my autoimmune disease to regain health and vitality.

She is amazing doctor and always makes sure that I am getting the best medical advice and always tends to my needs. I would highly recommend Dr. Freedman as a doctor. She is always looking out for the best for her patients.

Dr. Freedman is true to her mission to provide a complete picture and holistic approach to my healthcare. She makes sure I understand how my lifestyle choices especially diet and exercise affect my long term health. She is direct and firm yet compassionate and sincere. I feel I'm in very good hands.

She does not return phone calls, anytime I’ve called, I’ve had to call at least 3 times to get a response. Had a phone appointment scheduled, and she just never called. She is negligent, rude, and belittles her staff in front of anyone. I could not recommend anyone going to see Dr. Freedman less. I spent a lot of money with 0 results.

Dr. Freedman is a great doctor and a super nice lady.

Dr Freedman is my family’s PCP and she has been very helpful and supportive of our needs. My kids love coming to see her and her team - she is always very kind and loving to them. She has helped me effectively address various health issues, and has consistently supported the holistic approach we take in caring for our family’s medical needs.

Dr. Freedman and her staff are excellent. The staff are calm and empathetic, and Dr. Freedman is more than just a practitioner. She is a no-nonsense health advocate, prompting a search for solutions rather then masking symptoms. I and my family look forward to being a part of her practice for a long time to come!

Very disappointed with this practice. I had to cancel an appointment for Monday and called on Friday midday. The office was closed and I left a voicemail. When they returned my call on Monday they said that I had to pay a $50 fee if I wanted to reschedule. this was NOT explained when I made the appointment. I don't care if this is the greatest doctor in the world, this is not good transparent practice. I will look for a different practitioner.

Dr. Freedman was able to help me with alternative treatments for my chronic lower back pain. Although her practice is obviously busy, she took the time to discuss my case and guide me through treatment modalities without rushing or pressure. She has a loyal patient base who trust their families to her, and I believe they are in good hands!

I have been a patient of Dr Freedmans for close to 29 years and highly value her expertise. Dr. Freedman has definitely helped improve the quality of my life. She has made herself available to me after hours as well as squeezing me in for quick appointments when necessary. Dr. Freedman cares about her patients and their overall health, not just the immediate issue. Her Top Doc rating is well deserved. I highly recommend Dr. Freedman.

Dr. Freedman, and her staff were very welcoming and professional! The doctor took the time to make sure I had all of the information I needed, and that I understood everything. She was very thorough and compassionate. I wholeheartedly recommend Family Holistic Medicine, and Dr. Freedman. They're the best!

I have been to multiple doctors who have ignored me when I asked for additional blood work and to see what was wrong and why I was gaining weight. I was always rushed in and out and only spent maybe twenty minutes with my doctors. When I met Dr. Freedman she spent time with me and listened and made suggestions and followed through with monthly checks and completed additional blood work that showed I have multiple food sensitivities. I am feeling better thanks to Dr. Freedman and her knowledge and she treats you as a whole person. I am glad that she took a different approach not to jump to medications that cause more harm then needed. Thank you Dr. Freedman.

As a doctor she is great, very knowledgeable. I just didn’t like how disorganized her office was. Staff had no idea what they were doing and very Chaoti, she would yell at her staff infront of her patients and I didn’t like that at all. Also not baby friendly, she didn’t have a baby scale or a changing table and it wasn’t sterile.

I have been suffering for chronic pain for about two years. During these two years, I sought help from numerous specialists. They could not provide an explanation to my condition or set me on a path to healing. A friend recommended me to Dr. Freedman, and after only THREE appointments, she was able to give me more answers and solutions than every top specialists I saw in two years. It is amazing how her holistic approach provided a simple explanation and solution to my problem. I’m proud to claim that I am now PAIN-FREE!!!! I have been recommending her to others and will continue to do so!

She is rude to her Staff, rude to patient and losing business. Not going to recommend to my worst enemy.

I wanted a holistic approach. Overlooked her yelling at staff, not listening, her overpriced supplements. Left after I needed a referral that she didn’t want to give. Ended up needing emergency surgery thank goodness I persisted with the referral!

I was looking for a new family doctor, reviews were excellent and I liked the holistic side. On my first visit I was taken back by the belittling of the office staff by the doctor. I felt uncomfortable and I had been in the waiting room 5 minutes. I had also heard her on the phone speaking to a current patient and did not care for the way she was speaking to them. I should have left based on my gut feeling but having driven 40 minutes each way I decided to stay. There was a lot of disorganization about the purpose of my visit. I was very clear when I made the appt it was for a regular exam, and to establish a new family doctor. I waited 40 minutes to see the doctor and was asked if it was OK if interns led the exam. Normally I wouldn't mind to much but I thought it wasn't professional for a first visit establishing rapport. Blood work was taken ($15 surcharge onsite, first time I had seen this) and I was asked to come back to go over the results. Typically at other offices you can view your bloodwork online and would only go in if there was an issue. I decided to come back considering it was supposed to be a holistic view, wanted to see if it was different. Interns read me my blood work results, a vial went missing from my previous visit when I asked about the results of that test they said it had to be redrawn. (no fee) While the doctor came in to go over the results which were all normal I don't understand why I had to come in again, she was distracted and left the room while I was in the middle of asking her a few questions. I thought that was unprofessional. I felt like I had driven 40 minutes each way and paid a co-pay for nothing, it felt like a waste of time and money. When I saw the insurance paperwork I say I was billed for psychological analysis, which was not true. My insurance company told me not to pay. I had seen so many excellent reviews and loved the idea of the holistic options but in the end I wish I would have seen more of the realistic recent reviews. I would pass and not recommend to anyone else.

I have had different issues that I have been dealing with over the last few years. I have seen multiple doctors and they all told me this is just the way my body is and there isn't anything to do about it. Dr. Freedman has been fantastic at looking at all of my concerns and walking me through the conventional medication options as well as supplements and integrative options to get to the root of the problem.
