Dr. Lori Lyn Cherup, MD

I’ve been going to Susan Mowry for quite a few years at Radiance Plastic Surgery. She does fillers, Botox and many more of her services on me. What I love love love about Susan is that I have her total trust. She will not over fill her client. I’ve often asked her for a fill somewhere on my face and she tells me I’m not ready yet. I find we cannot be our own judge of what we need. We need an outsider to guide us. And often your friends won’t give you the right advice. Susan is the person to trust ! People often say how beautiful my skin looks. It’s Susan !

Outstanding post surgical follow up during a holiday week and as the doctor was getting ready to go on vacation. When a potential problem arose the office staff was able to call her at 5:45am her time (11:45am Pittsburgh) and confer. Two highly skilled staff dedicated to post surgical wound care. A doctor who goes the extra mile to be available to patients who need her. We found Dr. Cherup to be kind and compassionate as well as highly skilled. We could not have asked for a better patient/caregiver experience.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Dr. Cherup and her staff. I highly recommend.

Very unprofessional manner. Dresses like a hooker. Speaks LOUD so everyone in the place can hear your confidential medical information. Horrible in every way!

I was looking at Dr. Cherup's reviews and most of them in the past 2 years are negative. Makes you wonder what happened and do you want to schedule with her.

Dr. Cherup did not pay the surgery center their due for my anticipated neck surgery, but did pay herself. The surgery center cancelled my surgery, then Dr. Cherup followed through cancelling my surgery while my husband and I were on vacation in the Caribbean because they were not paid by Cr. Cherup. She kept her unearned money on my charge and threatened to sue the credit card company if they credited me my money. Unfortunately, the credit card company was afraid of being sued by her. She had a hard time getting anything right, but did pay herself an undue $3100. Dr. and Mrs. Kathryn Sitterle

Dr. Cherup told me she could fix one of my breast implants that bottomed out by stitching netting under the implant. She told me I would have to do the same to the other breast. Not only did the surgery not work but it also completely messed up my other breast that was perfect. So now I am left with scares, sagging and a implant still bottomed out. When I called to tell her that the surgery didn't work and it messed up the other breast.. she screamed at me and said there was probably fluid in it...Which I knew there was not. So then she sent me to get it scanned. No fluid. I had to pay her to try to fix it and she made it even worse. So much wasted time, money, and pain...

Dr. Cherup performed a breast augmentation on me. I am very dissatisfied on many fronts. I would never recommend her to anyone. Save yourself a lot of aggravation and find a different surgeon.

i''m going to be 17 years old, and need a breast reduction. I was was extremely excited for the first appointment, but i had yet to be excited once dr. cherup walked into the room. she questioned my religion, school, and was questioning why i was even there. i went to another doctor, and all went well.. so nice and respectful! unlike dr. cherup

Never in my life have I met a more ignorant & condensending doctor!! The worst consult ever. Will never,ever recommend this doctor to anyone! Avoid at all costs

She performed a botch surgery on my nose. I went in for Rhinoplasty to have my deviated septum repaired and she put a HOLE in my SEPTUM. I have to go to a specialist to have a graft to have my nose closed up correctly. TERRIBLE and devastating.

Dr Cherup is an outstanding surgeon. She knew the perfect size breast for my body size. She is caring and very concerned about your recovery as well. She even came to double check on me in recover. Anytime I needed a follow up appointment they we always available to see me. 6years later and I still don't regret having this surgery. My breast are still the perfect shape and size.!!

Dr. Cherup was very informative and straight forward with her answers regarding my wants, wishes and desires. I was well taken care of at each appointment and on my surgery day. When the issue arose during my surgery of the left silicone gel implant not being the size we anticipated, she did what she needed to do to make the surgery go as needed and even offered to replace the saline one free of cost if it wasn't to my liking. I was very gracious to hear that and look forward to seeing the 6/8 week results!

The staff and Dr. Cherup were AMAZING! Very compassionate and caring for their patients. The results were outstanding and better than I ever imagined it to be. I can't thank them enough for the wonderful job that they did.

Dr. Cherup and her entire staff made me feel comfortable and safe through their professionalism and confidence in their work. We spoke about my wants and desires for what I wanted after surgery and why. We chose the best course of action for me, together. Dr. Cherup listened to me and heard nervousness in my voice about being under anesthesia, and to ease that, she ordered an extra test to ease my mind and talked me through the entire process. I had a pleasant experience on the day of surgery with everyone on the team. I am thrilled with my results and have been sharing my positive experience with everyone I know. I couldn't be more pleased with the decision to get this surgery done, but even more so that I chose the best Surgeon and team to preform it.

I had a facelift 13 years ago, & havenever regreted my decision.My husband had passed, & grief & loss had shown on my face. Never having been on my own, I had no confidence in myself or in my appearance. Dr. Cherrup did an excellent job, & of course, many years later, gravity has taken its toll. I hate to think how I would look at 75,.had I not had this surgery done. She was a very caring & concerned surgeon.

I would never tell any friend to go to Cherup. Cherup is rude and unprofessional. During the entire consultation, she talked down to me. I went to multiple consultations and in every one, I felt comfortable. The second she walked into the room, she made me feel uncomfortable and embarrassed. Her bed side manner is TERRIBLE. Her first question was what my major was. Her response? She told me to change my major! Cherup is a woman who thinks she is on top of the world and will make you feel horrible about yourself. This woman could have told me that she will do my operation for free and I still would never go back to her. My best advice is to chose another surgeon.

If I had known this surgery would be such a life saver I would have done it years ago. I love my results and I'm not experiencing any more back or neck pain.

Dr. Cherup was very reassuring on my surgery and is still this way as i recover. My recovery is a little slower than i would like, but she has eased my nervousness about it all. Her attitude towards my recovery is so positive that if i choose to do any more, she will be the only person i go to.
