Dr. Lorraine M Cummings, MD, FACOG

I have been seeing this doctor for literally fifteen years. To many good things to write. I wish her well in her future journey as she will be missed in the Asheville area by many of her patients.

Dr. Cummings is a wonderful doctor. She delivered my baby in 2001 and did my hysterectomy in 2008. I would still be going to her except her office quit taking my insurance because they pay way to slow. She really is the BEST!!!!!!

I hope the closing of FemCare is temporary until you find another facility. They are trying to take our freedoms to fulfill their greedy narrow politics. I was a patient for annual pap tests some time ago. I admire your tenacity. I am now 89 years old but would be happy to help in any way you need, if I am physically able. I know this is easy for me to say but PLEASE DON'T LET THEM GET AWAY WITH THIS. 'Tis a tough fight you're waging but I remember kitchen table/coathanger "procedures" and I shutter at returning to that. How can I help?

Dr. Cummings performed an elective abortion for a member of my immediate family. She's an outstanding physician, very conservative in her medical practice & also very competent. She knows that no one plans on needing an abortion & she also knows that living life as a human woman sometimes brings us face to face with that need. I can't say enough good things about her--our family deeply appreciates the gentle & professional care she gave us. We hope she'll train other Drs. & we pray that she'll be there if we ever need her again.

All Doctors could take lessons from Dr. Cummings--always there to listen and help in the most caring way....I can't say enough good things about her!
