My experience at Mercy Walworth with Dr. Gharia was exceptional. The doctor and his staff were polite, compassionate and thorough. I would highly recommend. From scheduling the appointment, to the actual procedure, to the follow up, all went smoothly and easy.

Calm demeanor and reassuring staff/doctor

Dr Gharia and his staff were caring and professional. From my first appointment to my last, I always felt they had my best interest in mind. The day after an appointment a staff person always followed up with a phone call to see how I was doing. Dr Gharia is an excellent doctor. He shows through his conversations and methods that his patient is very important to him. He spends time explaining the procedure and answering questions. I never felt rushed. I would recommend Dr. Gharia without hesitation.

I recently had a suspicious mole that needed to be removed and was very worried that it was malignant. Dr. Gharia explained the procedure thoroughly in layman’s terms and told me what to expect. He personally called me with the results and even patiently spelled the condition. This doctor takes the time to answer your questions fully and you can tell that he is a compassionate person.

I took my father to see Dr. Gharia for an area that I was concerned about on his face. Dr. Gharia is not only highly skilled in his field of practice, but he is amazing at explaining the "why's' and 'why not's" of every situation in a way that anyone can understand. His communication skills are off the charts and he is such a genuine, caring and cost-effective physician. There isn't anyone else I would take myself or my family to see.

Dr. Gharia is as good as they come. He's one of the most impressive, thorough, highly reassuring, and importantly, personable physicians I've ever been to. After having Mohs Surgery with him, I can’t imagine getting better care anywhere. Dr. Gharia explains every nuance of the surgery, including trade-offs, along with several solutions. He is meticulous in his surgery and repair, always asking if he's hurting you at all. I really can't say enough about him. Additionally, he is very responsive post surgery. Call and he’ll respond. I had two separate sources (a patient and a physician) refer me to him and I’m so grateful that they did.

I saw Dr. Gharia for a MOHS procedure and was so very anxious as It was on my nose. I had looked at pictures foolishly prior to the procedure and was even more afraid of what was to come. While I am just starting the healing process. Dr. Gharia's calm and kind presence during the procedure went a long way toward making me feel that he was going to do the very best he could for me. He takes time to answer questions and does not rush. I could tell from his conversation with his nurses that everyone receives this level of care and concern.
