Dr. Marc S. Menkowitz, MD

Despite some aches and pains Doctor M’s personality drops my pain scale to a zero. I know he excelled in my surgery operation and I am always “ bounced “ during his follow-ups. He is insanely positive and it follows in to his doctor/patient interactions. He is probably a great neighbor and friend.

Dr. Menkowitz is a great surgeon. He changed my life back into an active lifestyle I lost due to my accident.

Best, sweetest, caring and very knowledgeable Doctor. Highly recommended if you need his specialty or his staff.

I am always thankful for Dr. Menkowitz as my surgeon, but recently I had an appointment during this scary COVID-19 pandemic. I was incredibly impressed by how he and his staff handled the importance of safety for me as a patient and for themselves.

I was so grateful that Dr. Menkowitz is in the AMERIHEALTH network. He specializes in orthopaedic spine surgery and gave me my life back. He and his staff took the time needed to put my worries at ease and walked me through the whole process.

If you are reading this review please read to the end. I recently fell and broke my femur. I had to have emergency surgery and could not choose my doctor. I later learned the doctor who put a rod from my hip to my knee, is a spine specialist. However, I also learned how lucky I was since I am 77, on blood thinners, and have been on steroids for 10 years. My surgery went well. Healing went well. My recovery in general is going well and to my surprise Dr. Menkowitz is a real human being. He spent as much time with me as I needed. So I would recommend him as a general surgeon on a scale of 1-10. I give him a 10. Office...staff is cooperative, pleasant and extremely efficient. Wait time 10-15 minutes. A very difficult situation was made pleasant in all respects.

This doctor was the most amazing surgeon I've ever had. He made me feel like family before and after my spinal surgery. He has a calming presence and was patient with all of my questions before and after the surgery. Even when I had questions after, I could call him and he would call back despite his busy schedule. He is very knowledgeable and reassuring. I would recommend this doctor to anyone.

OFFICE STAFF IS PERSONABLE AND WELCOMING. DOCTOR REALLY TOOK THE TIME TO DISCUSS SPINE ISSUES AND MAKE ME MORE EDUCATED UNLIKE A COOKIE CUTTER PRACTICE WHERE I AM JUST A NUMBER. THANKFUL TO FIND THIS PRACTICE.

Choosing to utilize my out of network insurance benefits has allowed me to choose a doctor who puts the patient first and not the insurance company. I never feel like a number in that office. If there is a long wait, it is because he is taking the time each patient needs just like he does when I need it!

I have been to many local Orthopaedic Surgeons over the years, but Dr. Menkowitz is the best! He is caring, warm and very thorough. He spends whatever time I need with him. His office is clean and comfortable and his staff is friendly and professional.

Did not take my pain seriously and did not care. Poor bedside manner and poor staff.

Dr. Menkowitz and his staff are excellent. I had two major spine surgeries done by him within 6 months. I am back on my feet and doing well. If I had to do it again Dr. Menkowitz would be the one!!

Dr Menkowitz is great. Spends time with u and explains your injury and prognosis. His staff is the most caring and kind group of professionals. He was not in our insurance plan but worth the $$$$. Highly recommend him.

Dr. Menkowitz spent almost a full hour with me during my initial consultation. He took the time to make sure I understood everything regarding my condition and the surgery. Surgery went very smooth, would definitely recommend.

he worked wonders for me. he was the best thing that happened in my life after several terrible surgies from another doctor, he fixed my neck with no problem, i dont kmow where i would have been if i did not find him.
