Dr. Marcin Marek Zygawski, MD

Genuine personality and dedicated doctor. Had an emergency and he saw me during a holiday weekend on a day by day basis. Did not expect that as I usually see someone else. We need more caring individuals like these.

Has been my ophthalmologist for over 3 years and just did my cataract surgery. I feel lucky to be under his care.

Found him when I was looking for an ophthalmologist. Great personality and very talented surgeon. Trained around NYC and left with me with a nice impression.

Saw him multiple times, very responsive and caring. I have referred family and friends to him already. They seem very happy as well.

I am a retired nurse and I decided to comment as I feel that Dr Zygawski is very talented and someone that went into medicine for the right reasons. I am very pleased with his work and bedside manners and have referred my friends to him. Thank you for the great care and making me feel comfortable.

I spent some time in doctor offices in my life and being retired this is now more important to me than ever. I have seen Dr. Zygawski on few occasions over the past year for a systemic problem that also involves my eyes. I gave him some grief I am sure but he was very nice, introduced himself and took the time to call my oncologist. I was not myself at the time. He even wrote a letter to my oncologist that helped them pinpoint my issues. The oncologist said that Dr. Zygawski is a keeper so let it be!

I had issues with another doctor and decided to switch to this office. The doctor was recommended by a friend. He clarified things to me and allowed time to discuss my case. He even followed up with a phone call in person on two tests. Thank you.

Helpful, approachable and great bedside manners.

Sudden onset of floaters and flashers. Just had annual eye exam in July, no problems. Person who took phone call very helpful - told me to go into dark place, move eyes side to side and report if I had flashes of light. I did. Appointment the same day with Dr. Z. who is not my usual doctor. I am not a fan of this practice due to it's factory type impersonal nature. Upon arrival was tortured by receptionist insisting that my insurance card was out of date and that copay was greater than what was shown on card. Really BAD- kept standing at front desk for 15 minutes. Really? After that rude reception, I was seen by tech Melissa who could not have been nicer; sensitive to my concern and reassuring. Dr. Z seemed pressed for time - makes sense since I was an emergency add on. But he did take the time to thoroughly examine my eye and although my condition is upsetting to me, it was not a detached or torn retina. He is the only FACs surgeon in this practice. I am grateful he is there.

Personable doctor and outstanding office.

This is a great doctor, he saw me over the weekend for some floaters. He seems to care and not bounce you back to somebody. I had this issue for a long time and could not understand my eye problems. Info given by him makes all the sense. I have seen him four times by this point and think he has been the same all along. I recommend him highly.

Seen this doc few times. I am very impressed with his care and approach. He called me when needed in person to address my concerns. Would recommend highly.

Easy to talk to and a great listener.

Had this doctor for about a year since the other doctor left. He is experienced and knows his stuff. He is not afraid to spend more time with you if you require the extra management. I don't put these things on the internet but I had to when the doctor called me on Saturday to discuss results. Haven't seen that level of care before, glad to have him in this area. Thank you.

The doctor is very personable and treats you with great care. Explained all the details and the process of surgery without pressure. My surgery went very well. Considering the big institution that he works at I am pleased with the overall wait time. Some departments at his place take longer in terms of wait but my experience was very pleasant. I already recommended him to my friends.

The doctor is very pelasant and skilled in his field. He explaned my problems in detail on numerous occasions and gave me options. I felt very welcomed and thought the exam was very detailed and the doctor was objective. I have already recommended him to family members and see him on regular basis. The office is staff is also pleasant and all seem to enjoy their work.

Saw this doctor in his Pike county office. Very complete exam. Came from another two doctors in NJ who could not help me with my condition. Turned out easier than thought. He revamped my eye drops as it turned out that one of the drops was irritating the eye more than helping me, not sure why the other's didn't think of that. Impressed with detailed exam and nice nurses. Will follow with his office as they have all I need.

Highly recommend this office. Had my cataracts taken care of and seen this and other doctors. Doctor is highly cabable of accurate diagnosis and staff is friendly. Much of my family uses their services and they seem happy too. Wait time is reasonable, one thing I really like about this office is that when you have an urgent eye problem/issue over weekend the office doctors call back from this office as opposed to nurses or other services, etc.

Dr. Zygawski was right on the money with my diagnosis. He recommended approporiate treatment and long term follow up for my condition. I saw other doctors in the past and they seemed to miss the diagnosis. Dr. Zygawski seems to be very smart diagnostician and that is the impression I get from other patients that go there. I found no problems with the staff in that office but I will say that they seem to be very busy there at all times with only one doctor in the office at a time, expect to wait there. But I guess a busy doctor must be in demand for a good reason. I rather wait longer and have proper treatment than bounce around like a guinea pig. Would recommend highly.
