Dr. Marcos Antonio Benitez, MD

I've been with dr. Benitez for a few years and he has helped me with my nerve damage and Lord knows I needed the help.. I highly recommend this doctor and man, thank you Doctor Benitez.. Glenn loving

All of the ONE STAR and unseen ZERO ratings are absolutely correct. I came all the way from Las Vegas to go with my adult DEAF son for his pain management visit. He had seen Benitez 1 visit previously and told of Benitez’s contemptuous attitude. And it’s true. Benitez would not even look at my son, even after I told him that my son is deaf and reads lips. Benitez was belligerent, refusing to help my son in any way, refusing to turn around to speak to him, or even acknowledge him. Said he could not help him. Hmmm, my son has had a stroke, has diabetes, neuropathy, loses use of his legs and hands, falls, has a bad back, vertigo, in constant pain, plus several other medical issues but this man, Benitez said he didn’t know why my son was there. DUH, because the MD referred my son there for PAIN MANAGEMENT, since none of the ‘20 meds’ are helping him. So I guess everyone reading this can understand why I ask this point blank question to Benitez, “Are you a doctor?” Lol, then he thought he was attempting to threaten me. What a flimsy jerk. Should not be ‘practicing’. The AMA should definitely check into man and jerk this jerk’s license. (You’ll notice that I have never referred to Benitez as Dr. He doesn’t deserve the title). On the first visit, Benitez walked out of the exam room away from my son with total arrogance and discourtesy. This time he was left alone in the room. SHAME ON HIM for his behavior, attitude, and abusing the medical profession.

We had been to three other doctors and no one had found what was wrong with my husband. Dr. Benitez began running tests and found out what the problem was and sent him immediately to a neurosurgeon for surgery the next day. He was very kind and compassionate, and he did not stop until my husband received the treatment he needed.

He is the most rude and unfeeling person. He walks in, no eye contact, turns his back to you and pays all of his attention to the computer screen. Asks you if you are here for refills he supposes, then out he goes, very impersonal. I don't think he cares much for his patients. I would give him a zero, but then I couldn't post my review.

As far as the Dr. he is a very nice man and a good doctor, however as for as his staff & office procedures they are in desperate need of an overhaul & some realistic provisions & exceptions made for patients that cannot meet their appointments due to no fault of their own.( ie.,) to old to drive, to blind to drive, lives in another state & has hardship getting to appointments because they depend upon someone else. I am very disappointed with their unwillingness to work with the caretakers of this kind of Dr.'s patients.

The best doctor

From the very beginning I have been treated with understanding and respect with regards to Dr. Benitez and his staff. I never feel shuffled around from one room to another. Dr. Benitez takes the time to really monitor my conditions and helps me make sensible decisions regarding my treatment.

Said we could call with any questions then wouldn't take call.s Nuerse relayed message and came back with answer that made no sense! Not helpful at all.

This doctor is the best I've ever been to! He actually has conversations with me about how I'm feeling and how the medication is/isn't working for me!! I like that he isn't a pill pusher trying to make me take stuff that is expensive and makes me ill!

Terrible experience with this doctor. I saw him three times for the same problem and my concerns were dismissed each time. He did one test and it was negative and didn't bother to test for anything else. He told me I was just getting old!! When I retrieved my charts to see a different neurologist, I could not believe the misinformation in the charts. Each visit's record was extremely inaccurate, leading me to think he must chart at the end of the day and has no recollection of even seeing me that morning! Don't waste your time and money... go somewhere else!

Great Dr. Very informative and caring. You never feel hurried, and if you have questions he will answer in a way you understand. Very down to earth person and intelligent.

Dr. Bentiez ia very good doctor, he will go above and behoned to find out was your problem is, if he can't not find out the problem he is honest and will send you to another doctor. He is one of the few doctors that you may see out in town.

This doctor exceeded all of my expectations and was able to diagnose my problems within minutes of talking with him. Would highly recommend to others needed help in this specialty.

THANKS TO THIS DOCTOR I DO NOT HAVE STROKES ANYMORE.....IN THE PAST I HAD GONE TO SEVERAL DOCTORS ANY THEY FOUND NOTHING AND ONE SIMPLE BLOOD TEST IT WAS TAKEN CARE OF .THANKS

I Really Would Like To Know WHO HE SAW ,BECAUSE EVERYYHING IN MY CHART IS A LIE!! When I asked for my medical records to take to a new Dr. I got to reading them, & they were all untrue!!
