Dr. Sims was referred to me by a friend during the Corona Virus and thank God because he probably saved my life. I could not find not one Doctor who was accepting new patients during this time. (Neither was he) I guess God put it in his heart. I had a Blood Pressure of 200/108 and had no idea. I had no symptoms on that day. Actually I felt great! He took the necessary actions to get my pressure down and ordered me to follow up in a month. I will refer him to anyone hands down. Thxs Dr.Sims T.Kennedy

I recently took my 78 your old Mom to visit this Cardiologist. He was very personable, patient and informative which made us very comfortable in asking questions. Not to many people have patience with the Elderly these days, I highly recommend his practice.

Dr. Sims saw my mother in the emergency room, and again after she was admitted. I was so appreciative of his willingness to calmly explain everything to me so I would understand what was going on with my mother. When we had her follow-up appointment, he was personable and took his time with my mother. He went over her treatment plan calmly, and his demeanor was comforting to me and my mother. I appreciate the doctor who is not in a huge rush, giving you time as though you’re his only patient.

I went to the hospital 3 years ago with what I thought were asthma issues. Turned out to be Mitral Valve Prolapse which needed open heart surgery to correct. Through the whole ordeal Doctor Sims has been a steady hand guiding me back to health.

Dr. sims treated me for afib for a year when he sent me to a electrophysiologist for surgery to correct it. I had asked my previous doctor about this option but he put me off. So I suffered until I started going to Dr. sims. He treated me like family. He was kind , warm , understanding and intelligent. He wasn't afraid to let another doctor step in to better the health of his patient so humility can be added to the list of his qualities. Because of him I will now be able to enjoy my retirement from 30 years of teaching with my grandchildren. Playing with them and enjoying my family and life again. He is a very fine person and doctor. I am continuing to se him for well check-ups now. I thank God for this man!

He has always been straight and foward.nice ,kind,and very knowledgeable. If more hospitals staff had doctors like him I know the world would be better. Please understand that I'm coming from the heart with this.even tho my heart is weak ,it is still strong in mind. Eastside has a great staff.

Dr. Sims is so knowledgeable and I always felt that I had the BEST care with him. He is kind, compassionate and puts you at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Sims, he took such great care of me. I went to his Snellville (Tree Lane) office. His staff in Snellville is awesome.
