Dr. Marek Andrew Stawiski, MD

Minimal time spent with a patient. A quick glance, possibly 2-3 minutes and then on to the next patient. I believe at one time he was rated highly, but now does not spend the adequate time. He seems like a nice person, but is care has declined.

Time for him to retire. He has an "old school" methodology of freezing and cutting when alternative forms of topical solutions is available.

Worst medical office I have ever dealt with but unfortunately they are the only dermatology office in the area that accept my insurance so I'm stuck. I've only ever met with Katelyn Dennis, PA who is very personable and knowledgeable and the front desk staff seems nice. The problem is, I cannot get a return call to save my life. I have left 4 messages in the last 3 weeks. One for the nurse, 2 with the front desk, and 1 with the office manager. I have received exactly ZERO return calls. I was told we should hear back about insurance within 1-2 weeks. It has now been 4 (on Friday) and no one will return my calls. If I didn't need the medication, they could all go kick rocks for all I care. I am so over this office.

He has found and treated skin cancer, that no other doctor noticed. Found and treated shingles, where other doctors failed.

Many of my family members (parents, kids, spouses) have been Stawisksi's patients since the 60's back when he was downtown. Unfortunately he now kicks out his old patients if they don't visit often enough, and they have to start as a "new patient" again getting a referral and waiting months to get in for a consult or visit. You'd think over 50 years as his patient would count as something when trying to make an appointment. My our records are there. My mom is 92 and totally doesn't understand why this happened since we have a long history with him since the Medical Arts days.

Terrible office. Terrible front desk workers and Dr. Marek doesn't pay attention to his patients at all.

This is one of the most poorly run medical offices in Western Michigan! Before you consider making an appointment at this office, do some research on the staff turnover rate. Office staff are rude and unfriendly; the office manager is non-responsive. Avoid this office!

I am rating Dr. Stawiski ONLY. I find Dr Stawiski to be a very good MD with a great demeanor. I have him as my derm MD for many years. The staff however seems short (especially on the phone). I went to pickup some samples that I was told by staff were at the downtown office. I drive a 35 minute ride one way to get them only to wait ten minutes to find out they don't have the samples! GEEZ!

DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!!! You are only a number to him! Sat in the waiting room for over an hour, finally got in a room and waited another 30 minutes. Never looked me in the eye and and was in the room for less than 2 minutes. Never got the answers I came for. Called the office manager and she only made excuses for him. This office is A JOKE!!!!!

He never spoke to me, made nurse do most. After incision and cyst removal ran off and had nurse finish stitching up. No after care. Bad news!

Did not get to see the doctor, because I would not sign a 4 page blanket waiver for disclosure of my personal medical information. Read the contract closely, they can disclose your medical information to anyone they decide they want to, without your further consent, and your signature allows them to change their privacy policy as they deem, at any time, without notice and retroactively. This is becoming a serious problem with medical care now, my personal health information is my own, I am the only one who gets to dictate to whom my information is available to. No one else.

The doctor has always treated me very well.

Dr. Stawiski is an excellent doctor. He is the only Dr. who has been able to help me with my pustular psoriasis. I am very grateful for his help and treatment.

We took our daughter, thinking we would get answers for her psoriasis. Oh we waited for 30 min, mind you came over 60 min. away. Once we got in a room another wait of 15 min. Then the Dr shows up, spent less than 10 min, no talking to the pt. Prescriptions, we had to call our insurance to see if light therapy was covered, out the door. Felt like a number and will never recommend this Dr again. She is still struggling with psorisasis, trying to find a Dr and staff that truly care about the patient. I am a nurse myself and to be treated like this is horrid.

The only doctor I have ever seen for my psoriasis that has make an impact on this illness. His staff is very knowledgeable.

Dr. Stawiski is the best.

I went in with a referral and a list of skin concerns. Doctor spent barely ten minutes with me. I had to ask the nurse to re-explain the doctor's position and for more care on my condition. I was not satisfied with my visit or my subsequent treatment.

We brought my Granddaughter to see Dr. Stawiski today. I have never experienced a more caring office staff. I can see why Dr. Stawiski is top in his field. The Dr. visit didn't take long as he knew exactly what to do and how to guide us in caring for Maizy. His staff went above and beyond to get her started with the appropriate treatment and meds. Everyone we came in contact with was professional and knowledgeable. I would give all of them 10 stars if I could! (she hasn't had a follow up appointment yet so am unable to rate that question...I'm sure it will be exceptional)

It took weeks to get in for my appointment so I rated him low there. I first visited Dr. Stawiski in 1981 when I had skin issues. He quickly went to the root of the problem and gave me a resolution. I visited 2 years later with another similar issue and again the results were perfect. My daughter & Husband have psoriasis and he is definitely an expert there. I went again today and he is an expert. He is definitely a Dr. to be trusted.

Removed melanoma from my lower back. Did an excellent job. Very professtional and friendly.
