Dr. Maria Jan, MD

Dr. Jan has been our doctor for the past several years. Our experiences with her have always been very positive. I appreciate that she does not clock-watch; she will stay with us and answer any and all of our concerns, with sincerity and thoughtfulness. She does not prescribe antibiotics easily, preferring to first try conservative routes, which I appreciate. She has a gentle but firm bedside manner. Her staff are equally compassionate and efficient.

So thankful to have found Dr. Jan. Being that I am in the health profession, I am aware that the concept of HMO insurance is not generally favorable for the patient. That being said, I recently found myself with HMO insurance. I am so pleased to have found Dr. Jan. She is knowledgeable and compassionate and genuinely area about the health of her patients.

It’s difficult enough to find doctors who don’t act as though a timer has been set for your visit, but to find one who makes calls on your behalf to see that you get the best care...that is absolutely unheard of. But that is Dr. Maria Jan. She goes above and beyond what is expected. Her dedication to her patients rates far more than five stars. My husband I cannot thank her enough for her thoroughness, thoughtfulness and extensive medical knowledge.

She made me feel at ease, answered all my questions, took her time going over everything with me. Very thorough, approachable, and knowledgable.

Miscommunication, inaccurate information, can't answer medical related questions, forgets (or doesn't remember), wrong referral, submits wrong medication to pharmacy, poor bedside manner... Shall I go on? This wasn't just for me, but these issues have happened multiple times with every member of my family.

Dr.Maria Jan is one of the best medical doctors I have ever met. I am very sorry that she no longer belongs to my insurance company.
