Very professional and caring doctor

The Dr was very knowledgeable. She was able to diagnose something that another doctor wasn’t able to. The staff was very nice and friendly and was able to get me in immediately. The wait was long, but it was worth it . I would definitely recommend this doctor.

Dr z saw me in an emergency situation. I waited over 2 hours and it was worth it. She gave me all her attention and explained everything to me clearly and solved my problem. The office staff was extremely helpful and kind. Would definitely recommend

Horrible customer service they, never pick up the phone, You should leave a message only. They Called me back in the five days. Was waiting three hours to see a doctor. Not recommend this place.

Marina Zabezhanskaya dermatology office Try to avoid such unhelpful medical professional. Minimum wait time 2-3 hours NO RESPECT OF PATIENT. Surprised that this is registered doctor, as the professionalism and respect for patient confidentiality is lacking to say the least. An Excessive wait time, 2 plus hours followed by unknowledgeable doctor who spent 3 minutes with the patient. rude unprofessional staff it can happen only in Brooklyn with elderly handicapped parents like my mom

I’ve been a patient of dr. Zabezhanskaya for the past 18 years. She’s a good and professional doctor. Now I won’t go to see her anymore because of her new manager Marina who’s can’t talk a normal way with a patient, rude, incompetent, never calls back. And today after I was waiting for 4 days to see the doctor, she told me “if u don’t like something here look for another doctor! “ I don’t want to depend of somebody’s mood to see my doctor on time I really need a help!

Recently I received a bill from this doctor from services performed over 3 years ago, stating past due. I was told to speak to Marina the office manager/biller. when I asked to get more information such as if/when they sent me a bill originally she was extremely aggressive and mentioned that she would send me to collections if I don’t pay. She would NOT provide me with her full name or an email address for me to follow up with her in order to get more information. When I called to get information on this 3+ year old bill she accused me of harassment and hung up the phone. Marina, if you do not provide an email address, how do you expect me to follow up? Since I noticed that this office is trouble, I just surrendered and paid. After making payment I asked the secretary for the office email address to have for record, at which point Marina the office manager/biller stopped the secretary from giving it to me and said that she is “going to call my job and get me fired", which is not a professional response to a patient asking for your email address, just plain crazy, and is a HIPAA violation. I had every conversation with them included this one recorded. I am very concerned about how many patients went through this issue with this office, and how many patients had their HIPAA right violated by this office.

Great doctor , Spends time with her patients and listens carefully , treatments are always accurate and pleasant... staff are very kind and professional , very helpful... Dr. Zabezhanskaya is very knowledgeable and caring.

She does not hear the patient,she does not care about patient,she cares only about money.She is not polite,she rude.Does not provide a quality treatment.

I had the terrible experience @ dr. Zabezhanskaya';s office. I made an appointment with Dr. Zabezhanskaya 3 weeks ago for 9:45 am. when I came in @ 9:30, there were 6 patiens in the waiting room. The front desk person told me that there is no such think as appointment , "first come-first seen" by the Dr. So, why should people make an appointment?! The doctor showed up @ 10.25. Finally, after waiting almost an hour the PA-or the nurse ( blond woman)- told me , that they(!) DO NOT NEED the patiens like me, who asked why nobody keeps the appointment 's time.. Practically she showed me the door out. So, if the doctor has the employee like this woman, let her has the patiens like she. I did have have chance to see the doctor, but I know for sure, that I will never want to visit that office again and I will tell my friends about this not pleasant experience. Alla Gerich

An amazing doctor who has great bedside manner, really listens to the patient, never rushes and has great knowledge. Of all the dermatologists I saw in Brooklyn she was by the far the best and most highly skilled. I wouldn’t ever go to anyone else anymore.

I have been a patient of Dr. Zavezhanskaya for 15 years...She treated my skin cancer on my chest, and I had several stitches... She also found skin cancer in my face, and I had mohs surgery... She saved my life.... She is kind, caring, compassionate... Dr. Z also treats me for two other skin conditions ... I think she is one of the best Skin doctors in Brooklyn.... If you find fault with this wonderful doctor, you have a problem... I have been with her for 15 years, and I will stay with her as long as I can..... Marsha A. Giordano

I know dr Zabezhanskaya for more then 20 years. Because I have a skin problem I used to visit dr pretty often. And because the waiting period is used to be long enough I tried other doctors ones in a while and every time I went to conclusion that she is the best. She is an excellent professional in her specialty. Today I visit her again and was wonderfully surprised how fast I was accepted by the doctor. Now the waiting period is very short, the office staff is polite and dr Zabezhanskaya is still the BEST!!! dr in Brooklyn. Svetlana Pantiushyna.

Almost a month ago we went to see this Dr. We were her patients almost 15 years., It was nothing serous. Just regular check up. Before our appointment they called us 4 time. About our insurance , to refreshed our memory. about the time. And at finally we came. First of all new manager of the office ask us about co-payment in the amount of $ 45 each. Me and my husband.And only by cash. We tried to explain that we don't have any cash and we'd like to pay by credit card or send the check by mail,like we did all 15 yeas.. Marina Harary, new manager refused to except our explanations and told us,that Dr. is not going to keep this appointment. We tried to talk to the Dr., but she said through her assistant ,that this is not her problem. Unfortunately at this moment we saw how Dr. became bad businesswoman. They didn't break the law, they break doctor's ethic.

Very angry and top of the line unprofessional. Stay away. Not only you will wait for 2-3 hours, but then she will just grab you and do some procedure that she will not even explain to you prior to doing it. Even a butcher would be more clean and accurate.

I paid $75 copay the day of my visit and she seen me for 5 minutes. I am not exaggerating, she seen me for 5 minutes and threw a prescription and said come back in 3 4 weeks. No questions about my past medication. She said " I know you took a lot of medication in the past". How does she assume?I am so furious. I pay for my insurance bi-weekly and on top pay my co payment. Stay away from this so called dermatologist.

Marina Zabezhanskaya, MD is an superb dermatologist that took care of me and my mother. She is well qualified in clinical dermatology and her staff is well educated.This doctor not only goes above and beyond the call of duty..she follow up with me 3 times per week to see how I was coming along until my problem went away.
