Dr. Mark Allen Coker, MD

Dr. Mark Coker was the pediatrician for my children for 8 years. Everything was great until he misdiagnosed my son. When confronted with concerns as my child was not improving, Dr. Coker was patronizing and unconcerned. The office staff later made it difficult to retrieve the medical records from the office for another pediatrician to review. I expected more from Dr. Coker after 8 years! Thank God my child was finally diagnosed correctly and treated for his illness. Best thing I ever did was find a better doctor for my children.

I have three kids. We have been going there for about 5 years. He is a younger dr and the kids love him and the staff. I moved to Conyers for a few months . I had to drive back to Dr Coker as there were no comparable doctors in that area.

The doctors at this office are not very informative regarding side effects of medications or treatments. My daughter was treated for a skin condition. The treatment caused very large and painful blisters to form where the medication was placed. They were so painful that she could only cry. I was NEVER warned that the treatment would cause any amount of pain. I often have trouble getting prescriptions called-in to my pharmacy. Either they call-in the wrong Rx or don't call at all. I don't think it is a problem with my pharmacy, as I have Rxs called-in for myself and my husband with no problem.Many of the doctors are not open to alternative methods for administering immunization shots and claim to be "old school" when asked. Further, the doctors never remember my children or their conditions and don't even bother to read the nurse notes before coming into the exam room and always seem to be in a hurry to leave. Finally, I find it next to impossible to see Mark Coker, his schedule is either too full or he is away from the office.I'm going to look for a new, better pediatrician.

i think that dr. coker is the best pediatrician. his staff is very professional and caring.
