Dr. Mark Wallace Taylor, MD

Dr Taylor has taken care of me and my husband multiple times. He’s been wonderful and professional every time.

I think Mark Taylor is knowledgeable and kind. I have seen him for various health concerns and he has always been helpful and compassionate.

I did not get my issue close to resolved and did not feel comfortable getting examined by him. Overall, I sat there and got a lecture around why j shouldn’t do something I love anymore and try to do something different. I don’t recommend him if you’re looking for answers.

For a visual test I had been given a prescription by Dr. Taylor. Through the new lenses I could barely see. I went back to his office several times and was told the prescription was correct. I then went to a different Dr. and after a new vision test with totally different analysis of my eyes I now have new glasses through which I can see. Dr Taylor also didn't respond to the letter I wrote him.

I have seen Dr. Taylor off and on for 10+ years for various reasons. I have torn/detached retinas and glaucoma for which he directs me to the proper specialist in those fields. I did have cataract surgery done by Dr. Taylor in 2009 which was very successful. I disagree with the comment that he doesn't listen. I believe he is a good doctor and has given me the treatment necessary for my situations. I've had a few eye infections which he was able to clear up very quickly. If he cannot treat, he will refer you to the eye doctor that can.

This MD does NOT listen to his patients. He spent less than 5 minutes with me, and his office staff are the people who doe the actual eye exams. He then repeated information that had nothing to do with what the consult was about. And then proceeded to get mad at me, the patient! Like I was an inconvience to him. The office staff put drops in your eyes without telling you what they were doing, what the purpose of the drops,and should have asked before putting potentially harming pharmacology in patients, and then sent me out the door with NO shades as my pupils were dialated for hours after. I can honestly say this MD is NOT good and seems out for himself and not for the good of the patient.
