He told me at 15 years old I needed to have a VP shunt put in every time I had to go he get on me about needing it done I was so scared and he knew it. My husband had had spinal decompression by Dr. Weiner, and the first time I met this doctor I was greatly impressed by how quickly he assessed the situation and changed his schedule immediately to provide surgery. Several years later, I had decompression and fusion by his skilled hands. I find Dr. Weiner to be everything one looks for in a physician: knowledgeable, skilled, and caring, though this description isn't nearly apt. Better put, Dr. Weiner is brilliant surgeon and a humanitarian Mensch as well. I wish he were a family friend! I cannot recommend him highly enough because I trusted him completely. I expected brilliance from Dr. Weiner, and I got it! You will, too!

Dr. Weiner takes time to really listen to his patients. He performed neck surgery on me and I couldn't be happier. I recommend him to anyone.

I’m so thankful for Dr. Weiner. Let me just say He was very clear and straight with the condition of my health and back that were out of his control. He promised me nothing, BUT delivered everything. Every nurse I spoke with sang his praises and we all know NURSES see it ALL! I’m so thankful I found him!!!! He is the man you want handling such delicate services. I just wish I could give him more stars because he’s given me so much!

Back pain and pain and numbness in left leg. Dr Weiner performed surgery which totally corrected my problem. Procedure was totally pain free, up and walking 3 hours after surgery. Could not have asked for better treatment from Dr Weiner or staff at Aultman Hospitial in Canton, Ohio

I am vertical again it was a very rough three months I can't describe the pain son a walker and a hospital bed is awful my husband had to take care of me . And he didn't mind but I'm only 49 years old and I thought my life was over by Dr. Weiner was awesome thank you for my life back soon I'll be able to pick up the Grandbabies again. Next summer I'll be able to work in the yard I want to my favorite things to do and just live life thank you thank you thank you have a wonderful wonderful staff I can't take you enough

Dr. Weiner gave me my life back. When I first got my disability from social security in 2002, I researched neurosurgeons, then chose my Medicare advantage program. In case I would ever need back surgery again. I trusted him before I ever met him. Long story short, after 18 years of narcotics I found myself in the position that I new I needed something done. Dr. Weiner did listen to me, take time with me etc. He did two separate surgery's. The first was for a large ruptured disc at the c6/7 of my neck. The second was a clean up from past surgery's in the L3/5 area of my lumbar spine. I have feeling back in my feet for the first time in 18 years. The only meds I take for pain is extra strength Tylenol. I am not pain free but I can handle this level of pain. Not only did Dr. Weiner give me back my life, but he also saved my life.

Was able to get in quickly and took his time on explaining procedure. Ask if I had questions, I had a few, he answered, , didn't feel rushed at all. Heard he was the best.

Didn't take time to actually find out what was causing my pain. Did one set of X-rays and didn't even follow up just got a call from a nurse, just a voicemail, stating no sit a present no follow up needed?! I'm still in pain 2 yrs later! Unbelievable treatment of patient.

Having back surgery can be very scary, but Dr. Weiner made all those fears evaporate with his direct manner and educated responses. He his a very caring surgeon who answered all my questions before and after surgery. I have had a remarkable recovery from a very serious surgery.

Dr. Weiner spent sufficient time first listening to me, asking follow-up questions, then describing to source of the problem. He offered alternative treatments along with ramifications of each. My recovery from surgery is going quite well with many comments regarding the speed of recovery. Dr. Weiner performed a thorough follow-up and answered all questions my wife and I had regarding the continuing healing process.

Dr. Weiner is an expert in his field. I would recommend him! However, he is quick and you don't get more than one - two minutes with him, whether in the office or hospital! Please understand he is most excellent in his field. But he is in such a hurry! When you are laying the hospital in PAIN MEDICATED... Bam he walks in... herniated disc. Need surgery. Can't till 4 days from now. Gone. Next day come in...Bam (always about 6an) no consideration that you are medicated and groggy...surgery tomorrow. Gone! I wanted to know what type? There are different approaches to this issue. So he came back and said real quick...Open up take out disc. Last surgery was very groggy from medication from allergic reaction...startled me awake...doing good you can go home. Nurse will give you going home instructions. Out the door. I didn't even have a time to gather my thoughts. Hit nurse button...I desperately needed to address an issue with my incision! No he was gone but got his PA. Thank God! It is the same with office visits. You can write down your questions but he is in and out and you feel like he is not really listening that his mind as usual is on already on the next case.. Please please Dr. Weiner TAKE THE TIME TO LISTENT TO YOUR PATENTIS! TAKE THE TIME TO ASK...do you understand or do you have a question?! That is a huge part of being a total comprehensive caring doctor. It IS very important not make a patient feel like your mind is already on the next patient the minute you walk in their room or at the office.

Dr. Weiner exceeded my expectations in regards to my care and recovery. I would definitely recommend him and his staff to anyone in need of this type of care. He spent all the time I needed to answer my questions and concerns, both before surgery, and after. Within five minutes of first meeting him, I could see that he takes pride in his work, and cares deeply for his patients. As a patient, he gave me the right diagnosis and treatment to take care of my problem(s) and move on with healing and recovery. His staff was also very courteous and professional in helping me deal with insurance and administrative issues surrounding my care. I cannot thank them enough for the wonderful care and attention I received! FIVE STARS AND TWO THUMBS UP!! :-)

Dr. Weiner performed ACDF surgery yesterday and home today feeling much better than I expected. Once I was diagnosed with ruptured disc in my neck and referred to Dr. Weiner, I could not be happier with service and results provided by Dr. Weiner and his team. Dr. Weiner took time to review MRI with me and explain the ruptured disc and what needed to be done. His staff answered all my questions. Dr Weiner saw me right before surgery and answered additional questions that I had.. The surgery and recovery went very will. I highly recommend Dr. Weiner for ACDF surgery.
