Dr Lyon is a wonderful compassionated Doctor. I was in the emergency room with a large kidney stone. Dr. Lyon was the Doctor who surgically removed the stone. Before surgery he explained and answered every question I had, He mad sure I was okay and that I understood what was involved with my surgery. I have more kidney stones that have to be removed and I have the up most confidence in Dr, Lyon to remove my kidney stone. He is professional and compassionate and really cares about his patients. I highly recommend Dr Lyon.

Dr Lyon, prior to my surgical choice, provided me with as much information as I was able to absorb and he answered my questions and provided added discussion that I was able to digest and understand. Additionally, his entire staff was absolutely empathetic and hospitable while in office as well as when visited by Kelly Dugan, an associate of Dr Lyon...again, outstanding. Dr Lyon and his entire staff are off the charts OUTSTANDING, in all they do and say...Class acts...going to Dr Lyon was the best decision I've made in years...wish I had only gone sooner.

Dr. Lyons is the hat trick of excellence: thorough, professional, and compassionate. After a diagnosis of prostate cancer, which came as a shock, he spent time discussing treatment options with my wife and me, making time to address questions and never rushing us out of the office. He treats you like a family member, and we trust his expertise and guidance. My wife and I are thankful to have him in our corner on this journey.

I initially brought my father to see Dr. Mark Lyon 3 years ago - My father was diagnosed with Prostrate Cancer and had a PSA of almost 10.00. His PSA is now under 1.0. Dr Lyon's gave us options and helped us make the tough decisions in order to rid an 80 year old man of prostrate cancer. My father is hard to please and has recently been diagnosed with Altzheimer's and Dr. Lyon's is the only doctor he wants to see! I would personally recommend him to anyone as I believe his professionalism and caring for his patients is hard to find in many other doctors. I never feel rushed and he always takes the time to ask about home life!

One of the rudest doctors I have ever encountered. Excited to never go back. Waited over an hour in the waiting room. Did not listen to any of my concerns, rolled his eyes at me and got defensive at my questions and concerns. Felt unlistened to. He's just another egotistical specialist.

Dr. Lyon was recommended to me by my general practitioner after it was determined that my PSA was extremely high. The first visit was followed by a biopsy of my prostate which then determined the onset of cancer. The next procedures, including hormone injections at Dr. Lyon’s, were then followed by radiation treatments that were done through the office of Dr. Robert Share. Continued post exams have been conducted through Dr. Lyon’s office. Dr. Lyon has always been thorough with post examinations and with explanations of my concerns and is exceptional in explaining the necessity of monitoring my progress and the need to keep abreast of any future changes that may arise concerning my status. DR Lyon is the best Dr i have had in along time, When he left Pronger -Smith clinic i didn't know what i would do.So like everyone else i got on the old computer a searched for him, Found him on Ridgeland Ave in Palos Park,Made an appointment and the rest is history. Mr Richard Myers, Matteson.

Dr. Lyon is an excellent Urologist. Under his care, my cancer diagnosis, the related surgery, and recovery went smoothly. Dr. Lyon ensured that I fully understood each step along the way, as well as the various options for addressing my cancer and their related pros/cons. He relates well with his patients, including my wife in an additional discussion of my treatment options. He also provided supporting materials that helped further my education, thus enabling me to gain comfort in how best to proceed. I came to him with chronic bladder infections due to BPH. He treated it by using a thallium laser to open up the tube. While some of the process was uncomfortable and much of it seemed weird, it was never in any way painful ... not even for a second. I would give him 6 stars.

My wife recently had surgery for a removal of a kidney stone under Dr. Mark Lyon care. From the first time my wife met Dr. Lyon to her post-op appointment her care has been excellent. I had a thallium laser treatment for BPH. There was not one second of pain ... ever. Some things felt odd or weird or uncomfortable but never, ever was there any pain. Everything works like it was 30 years ago.
