Dr. Mark Douglas Fossey, MD

Dr. Fossey's many years of experience can be seen not only in his ability to manage psychiatric medications but also in his quick grasp of a patient's mood and status. While I sometimes have to wait a long time, I'm okay with it, because he has given me the time I needed, even if it exceeded my 15-20 minutes. In fact, during one extensive visit, I happened to be his last patient of the day and he spent over an hour with me. That type of dedication is so very vital, especially in the treatment of potentially volatile psychiatric illnesses. I have found that his knowledge of internal medicine provides an extra layer of ability, as he can read the lab reports and interpret them. I feel he sees me as a whole person and treats me as such. I will stay with him, well, as long as I can.
