Dr. Mark Joseph Lucarelli, MD

Dr Lucarelli was a straight shooter about my skin cancer near my left eye. He made me feel very comfortable with the procedure. Did a great job as all my friends couldn’t even tell the procedure was done. Great bedside manner. Loved every part of the process and it turned out great !!!

Dr. Lucarelli was an excellent doctor. He took the time to explain everything to me before the surgery, and even spoke to me during surgery to let me know what was happening at the time. Post op follow up was outstanding also. I couldn't have picked a better doctor to do my ectropion eye repair. Even his office staff at the Rockford office was outstanding. The best doctor's experience I've ever had. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

It's hard to put into words how grateful I am to Dr. Lucarelli for the excellent care I received during a long, difficult bout with thyroid eye disease. Other Ophthalmologists were unable to provide answers or options leaving me frustrated and overwhelmed. From the initial visit, I knew he was an answer to a prayer. He will always be considered a blessing to me. I went from being distraught about my eyesight, the pain, and my appearance to feeling and looking like myself again. I would highly recommend Dr. Lucarelli and have already done so more than once. He is truly a credit to his profession! Not only because of the depth of knowledge, understanding and treatment of diseases that effect the eyes.  But also because of his kind, compassionate care.  A thousand thanks to an awesome doctor!!

Thrilled with the results of my blepharoplasty! Dr. Lucarelli is an excellent surgeon. He was highly recommended and I am glad I chose him to perform my surgery. The staff was very accommodating and made my visit a pleasant experience. I have since told others of the services at UW Transformations.

Surgery to correct ptosis performed 11/28/2017. I was made to feel comfortable, relaxed, and confident upon arrival and before, during, and after the procedure. Instructions and contacts made before surgery were comprehensive and very helpful. Dr. Lucarelli is a gem.

prior to surgery I looked though slits because the lids had so much excess skin. after surgery my field of vision has greatly improved. there was absolutely no pain following the procedure.

thorough explanation of procedure to be performed (this was an extreme reconstruction of lower lid after cancer surgery) absolutely astonished with the success of this reconstruction - excellent results...we had no idea that my father was so fortunate to have been referred to Dr Lucarelli

Dr. Lucarelli answered all my questions. I never felt rushed. I think he truly likes helping his patients and has a true gift. My surgery went well and I am very pleased with the outcome. Dealing with the effects of the eye disease was difficult for me. His his knowledge and expertise made is easier to manage.

I had the pleasure of having Dr. Lucarelli preform a reconstructive surgery on the left margin of my eye. He was knowledgable, experienced, and extremely kind and caring. I was Dr. Lucarelli's patient for 5 years and every appointment I was treated with great concern and kindness. He never made me feel like he was in a hurry. I was referred to him by my local doctor and I can't thank him enough. He assured me if I had problems before my next appointment, I should let him know and he would see me. My experience at UW Transformation (Madison, WI) with Dr. Lucarelli was awesome! I was able to get an initial appointment w/him promptly. I had eye surgery and a follow-up visit w/him. Dr. Lucarelli made this surgery so easy. He explained everything & his staff was very helpful. Recovery was a breeze with very little discomfort or discoloration. I had the Blepharoplasty & browpexy as my eyelids were so droopy & heavy. I would recommend this doctor to everyone & have had friends have the same surgery by him. As a nurse, I have worked with many doctors, and I can assure you that you will not be disappointed in this doctor. Dr. Lucarelli is definitely one of the finest eye doctors in Wisconsin. From my initial appointment to the follow up visits he has been extremely professional, plus the surgery was incredible. There was almost no swelling and pain and my down time was only 1 day. I highly recommend Dr. Lucarelli for any and all eye problems.

I highly recommend Dr. Lucarelli who perfomed my eye surgery. I had cancer aroud my right eye. I lost over one half inch of my bottom lid. He removed facial skin next to my left ear and created a new lower lid. The results is like a miracle. It is so beautiful. He is so kind and gentle and caring.

I would highly recommend Dr. Lucarelli and his team. My experience and results were beyond what I expected -- from the office visits, surgery, and results. I never imagined how much better I would be able to see, and feel!!! I'm so glad I didn't chicken out on doing this. :)
