Dr. Mark Robert Moses, MD

This Doctor is kind, considerate, and cares about what his patients need. He is a great surgeon. He did surgery on me in 2015 and now we’re working on the next surgery. I would highly recommend him and his staff. Great place.

I was referred to Dr Moses by a friend. I had a total knee replacement surgery and could not be more satisfied with my surgery and progress. Dr Moses treated me in a professional manner, answered all my questions, and cared about my needs and concerns. It am having the other knee done in about a month and looking forward to it. I referred a friend who had the same surgery this week.

I was treated less than sub humane today. They confirmed me for a 10:00 appointment which I confirmed with Becky. After driving the 1 1/2 hour from Piedmont to Norman and arrived on time they tell me that there are 4 people I grin of me and that the providers only have one room to treat patients. That there is nothing they can do. I ask politely why I was scheduled for a specific time (10:00) if I am going to have to wait over an hour to be seen. On top of this, I am is serious pain which is the main reason I called to do the ensure I was going to be able to be seen. I am deploying next weekend and this was the last chance I was going to have to see the dr. Before I deployed. There is something wrong with my shoulder after surgery. I explained this to the receptionist and they didn’t seem to care much about my illness all she asks is if I had a copy. I then proceeded to ask should I go to the emergency room why you scheduled me then if I am going to drive so far to be denied treatment even if I have an appointment. They said the dr. Leave at noon on Friday that we would not have a chance to see me anyway. I am making a formal complaint with Tricare and the military to have this Dr.’s office. Remove from the network. I don’t want any other service members to go thru the disrespect and humiliation I went thru at this office. Do not get me wrong. Dr. Moses is an excellent Dr. but his staff is substantially disrespectful and they are only there to make money not to take care of there patients. Waiting for a week for a referral but no one follows thru with because Dr. doesn’t complete notes. I had to call to find this out rather than staff following thru with anything

We have visited twice. Once for a broken finger and once with a wrist broken in 3 places. Each time Dr. Moses took the time to explain what was happening and never rushed us. He is our ortho guy for sure and with 5 active kids, we will see him again.

I had gone in for a second steroid shot for my knee. Just when it started to work, I was bitten by a spider near the injection. It became infected. I went to see my primary doctor for antibiotics. When I called to make another appointment with Dr. Moses, I was shocked to find out that he had dropped me and would not give me any more shots. It was handled very unprofessional and rudely. Now I will have to find another specialist and go through it all again.

Be careful about billing. Post op visits be careful about asking questions about "How will this effect this body part etc...?" YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR JUST ASKING THE QUESTION!
