Dr. Mark Jerome Trelka, MD

My husband is permanently disabled because of Dr. Trelka’s incompetence and laziness. He and his receptionist refused to aid us and the emergency room care team when he was seizing uncontrollably while under Dr. Trelka’s “care.” Dr. Trelka failed to act in the best interest of his patient. Do not trust this man.

Has no communication skills, never has a smile. Doesn't listen, doesn't say anything during procedures. I will NEVER return to this bozo again!

I have seen Dr. Trelka at the VA in North Chicago, he has spent some time with me and answered my questions. He made sure I received my medications. for my illness. I would recommend him to others.

I accompanied an older family member to a neurological exam by Dr. Trelka. He gave us all the time we needed to share concerns and ask questions. He also asked some very good questions and showed interest in my family member's overall health. I thought he was very thorough and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Dr. Trelka.

Dr. Trelka is a fine doctor. He takes time with me. His is interested in the patient. I reccomend him without regard.

No staff was available when he's out of town. Messages are not given to dr. to solve problems.

this dr. is the best neurologist i have been to that took care of my needs answered all my questions. did everything possible to accomodate me and made me feel comfortable. His staff are wonderful as well they go out of there way to assist every patient individually. i wouldnt change this doctor for the world...thanks dr. trelka

Does not listen to patient. Does not care about the patients illness if it gets worse and shows signs of another decease. He will not take the time to investigate the new symptoms.

is it normal for this " doctor " to want to do a prostate exam?

Ethics of a used car salesman. Mr.Trelka is the worst excuse for a Doctor in the northern IL area. It is my opinion that Mr. Trelka would be very adept selling used cars.
