This Dr is the best!!’ Had torn tricep surgery and less then 4 months later I’m back at it in the gym and back on the golf course.. He is right to the point… I love his no nonsense approach and he explains everything in detail about what to expect before and after surgery.. Staff is also extremely helpful with any appointment concerns and the in house PT was a tremendous help with my recovery..Highly recommend to anyone who might need help..

On November 13, 2023 Marshall Allegra preformed a total knee replacement on me. He is so kind and very thorough, he explained the procedure in a way that was easy to understand and explained every aspect of problems that could happen also. On the day of the surgery he came and spoke with me and put my mind to ease. I was so surprised that I had less pain a week after surgery than before. I also love his office staff they can’t do enough to help you with any of your needs. I had a TKR performed by Dr.Allegra on my left knee on December 12, 2005.18 years later and it is still working quite well.Naturally when it was time for my left knee to be replaced my first and only choice was Dr. Allegra. A TKR on my left knee was performed on October 30, 2023. It is now December 12 and I am walking around pain free without the aid of a cane. Experience counts ! Thank you Dr. Allegra

Dr. Allegra was not the first doctor I had seen to help with my left shoulder. After having a very unprofessional experience at a different facility with a different doctor, I felt hopeless until I met Dr. Allegra. He took the time to thoroughly explain my situation and what he could do to help me. I am less than 3 months post surgery and feeling great. If you are looking for a doctor with integrity, professionalism, and the willingness to take time to make you comfortable, then Dr. Allegra is who you are looking for.

Couldn’t be happier with Dr. Allegra. He just did my 2nd hip replacement and i am now pain free. He is professional, friendly and caring. Also his office staff is so informative. Highly recommend. Dr. Allegra is the best.

My husband injured his recently. When he decided to have it checked out, he immediately made an appointment with Dr. Marshall Allegra. (Dr Allegra performed my 2 knee replacement surgeries and i hughly recommended him) Dr. Allegra foung that my husband had bad tear in his meniscus cartilage and recommended arthroscopic surgery. He performed the surgery and my husband is recovering quickly. The Dr and his staff were professional and knowledgeable.

Dr. Allegra successfully repaired my torn right knee meniscus, treated my left knee pain, and most recently treated my back pain. He has been my orthopedic MD for the past 11 years. When I make an appointment, I see him, and not some other MD as happens often with doctors in group practice. There is minimal wait time, I do not feel rushed when explaining my problem, and his staff is as courteous, friendly, and professional as he is. I would highly recommend Dr. Allegra!

It was a pleasure working with Dr. Allegra and his entire staff over the past 11 months recovering from a car accident. He always put my needs first, fought along side me to have necessary procedures approved through my insurance and was quick to get me in for surgery when the time came. I came to him with a crushing hand injury and he worked miracles. In addition to the stellar physical care I received, working with his staff was effortless. They were quick and thorough both in the office and any issues that arose that required their assistance. I am grateful to have found them in such a stressful time.

I needed a hip replacement so I Googled orthopedists in my area, read the reviews and called Dr Allegra’s office. Dr. Allegra’s awesome assistant Karen, convinced me Dr. Allegra was the one. I was comfortable from my first visit, haven’t waited more then 10 mins in his office. You aren’t a number like the corporate offices, this is a family practice. They made me feel comfortable right away. Dr Allegra explained everything and all went exactly like he said it would. I can’t say enough great things about him and his staff. Thank you for everything!!!!!!!

After searching for an orthopedic seurgon, I was lucky to find Dr. Allegra a true professional. He just treated my husband for a total knee replacement. My husband has many health issues so it was important to find a doctor who could treat and care for my husband while he recovered. I became a patient of Dr. Allegra after needing two operations on my hand. After recovering from those surgeries, both of my knees became an issue. Dr. Allegra did all he could to treat both knees before they both required total knee replacements. The recovery was difficult but Dr. Allegra took wonderful care of me and he was always available when I needed him. He took time after hours to make phone calls to my home to ask how I was feeling. His compassion and understanding is amazing. He truly cares about his patients. His office staff is always to respond to calls as well, and always willing to accomadate needs. I have so much trust in Dr. Allegra, I recommended him to several of my friends and family because he is the best!

Dr. Allegra and his staff are great. My knee was replaced successfully and staved off replacing the second knee. No waiting for appointments and attentive to pain resolution.

This five star rating is not only for Dr. Allegra, but ALL of his staff. They make your concers their priority. Dr Allegra will be overly careful to address your issues and treat accordingly. His staff will answer the phone after hours without rushing you off the phone. Karen has spent a plethora of time after office hours helping my wife and I. Dr. Allegra has made a treatment plan and it has helped tremendously. Thanks to Dr. Allegra and his wonderful staff.

From the moment I met the staff and Dr. Allegra I knew made the right choice. After hrs in the ER with little to no answers I got a short notice appointment with this team. As soon as he walked in the problem was pinpointed and set up a date for surgery. Of course we waited for the MRI to confirm. I had snapped my patella tendon. I am a large man so this is was a bad situation. Figured out a way to get a decent brace(again large legs) for the very short time I had between my office visit and surgery. Everything was explained. Short and sweet IMO the way something like this should be handled. A not so common surgey went as well as I could have hoped for "textbook" was the word he used. After that a proper set of crutches and knee immobilizer was given to me and I was discharged. He called me within days after the surgery just as quick check up (Greatly appreciated I might add). My physical therapy was done in house ( great PT team) which is extremely convenient for those who are close to his office but more importantly them having a working relationship mean you get better quality outcomes. A big thing for me was his confidence in his craft. I am 6ft and at the time of surgery 462lbs I only add that info as a credential to his ability. "Big guy certified" in my own words. I was using the knee in no time and walking shortly after that. Again a big thanks to his PT team definitely use them if possible. And I hope nothing else snaps crackles or pops but if it does I will be going back to see Dr. Allegra. If you dont have a surgeon or need a 2nd opinion make appointment with this team. 5 stars from the moment they pick up the phone until your healed up.

Visited Dr. Marshall Allegra with a rotator cuff injury. The injury was severe, and I was concerned that I would be have a permeant disability. Dr. Allegra performed surgery at the Metropolitan Surgery center, and the results are a miracle. I have 100% of the motion, strength, and dexterity. Not only was Dr. Allegra a great surgeon, but the facility was clean and the staff there are wonderful. Thank you Dr. Allegra.

Dr. Allegra fixed my torn meniscus. I was able to walk out of the surgery without crutches or a cane and can't believe how great my knee feels so quickly after having the procedure done. He's the best! Karen and Sue are awesome and were so helpful working through the paperwork and dealing with insurance. I concur with previous comments about the great continuity having Dr. Chris and team in the same office space for therapy. From start to finish the entire process was seamless! Highly recommend Dr. Allergra.

Dr. Allegra is by far the best orthopedic surgeon. I had a torn labrum in my right hip. My previous orthopedic only wanted to send me to p/t and stated that a repair to a tear in the hip would involve a long tedious surgery and many weeks of non weight bearing recovery. Dr. Allegra was able to preform the surgery arthroscopically and repair the torn labrum, my recovery time was minimal and my hip pain was resolved. He fully explained the surgery and recovery. I have since recommended Dr. Allegra to my friends and family. An added bonus is his staff is helpful and knowledgeable! Will definitely go back if I need to!

My husband and I have been Dr. Allegra's patients for fifteen years and continue to refer him as a skilled orthopedic surgeon, excellent diagnostician and compassionate doctor. The office staff (Karen and Sue) are extremely helpful and able to assist in wading through pre and post procedure paperwork. On a personal level, Dr. Allegra provided extraordinary care following my husband's double-knee replacement. I confidently elected Dr. A to perform a hip and knee replacement as well as a shoulder repair for myself. All outcomes were positive! Another plus is the in-house physical therapy offered(Dr.Chris) in this practice creating an excellent communication system between Doctor, therapist and patient.

Dr Allegra has successfully removed arthritic bone Spurs and repaired rotator cuffs on both of my shoulders... both of my operations have brought about complete recovery and full use of my arms. I recommend him to all my friends and family.

Dr. Allegra was the emergency orthopedist who repaired my fractured kneecap with internal hardware. After a grueling course of therapy and subsequent surgeries to remove the hardware, after almost four years I am done treating with Dr. Allegra. He is a wonderful doctor. Listened to my concerns, asked me "What do you want to do?" at every visit, posed different options for each course of treatment, as well as suggesting a red blood cell procedure to finally heal the injury that was just not getting stronger or healing correctly. I was nervous and asked him "would you recommend this procedure for a family member?" and was given a resounding "yes!" He was not wrong, was best decision I ever made. Everything he told me about my healing and how to care for myself post injury was right on target, and he didn't minimize any of my complaints or concerns, instead always had a suggestion or recommendation for me to consider. He heard me, and wanted me to be happy with my care. I am. I wish all doctors were as involved and caring as Dr. Allegra. We need more like him. Thanks, Doc.
