Dr. Mary B. O'malley, MD

Dr. O'Maley was very arrogant and had made up her mind before even seeing me. She quickly discounted and disregarded everything that I said that did not fall within her pre-made opinion. She even told me that I was lying.

Dr. O'Malley was there when I needed someone most. She was concerned about me as a person. I'm thankful that someone sent her to me when I was in the hospital and feeling alone.

When I was under Dr. O'Malley's care in Connecticut she treated me for PTSD and anxiety and depression. She also prescribed and monitored medications she put me on. We practiced EMDR therapy and I think she is a great doctor. I know she focuses more on sleep disorders but she is a great psychiatrist.

Dr O'Malley deliberately misdiagnosed me, and told me so because it made it easier to treat me that way. This had hugely traumatizing consequences. In addition, she often lost her temper and never apologized when she did so, or when she made a mistake, which she did frequently. Treatment with her for nine years caused more harm than good. I have spent the last two years trying to come to terms with that and can't say I have even gotten past the shock of understanding what she did to me.

Dr. Mary B. O'Malley is, quite simply, the very best sleep specialist I have dealt with since being disagnosed with narcolepsy in 1999.
