Dr. Barfield in an excellent pain management doctor. He uses a variety of techniques to manage chronic pain. Because of his pain management strategies, I do not have to take pain medicine. I am proud to have him as my doctor.

I’ve never had such a caring physician. Dr. Barfield takes the time neccessary for me to understand my condition and the treatments available. The injections he gives me are minimally uncomfortable and he takes care to make it a pleasant experience.

My back has been hurting me for years. It got to the point I could stand up straight to cook a meal or even walk for any period of time. My husband kept telling me “go to the doctor”. I finally gave in and saw Dr Barfield at Conprehensive Pain and Rehabilitation. After getting X-rays, he explained that I had really bad spinal arthritis. After confirming this diagnosis, Dr. Barfield performed RFA (burning the nerves) to those painful joints. I have to say, I was not hopeful anything could be done for my back pain. However, I was able to shop for and cook Thanksgiving feast last week and don’t think I could be happier. Thank you Dr. Barfield!

I was referred to Dr. Barfield for a facet block. I was called for an appointment on the same day as my family doctor made the referral. Dr Barfield saw me for the injection 3 days later. Surprisingly, the injection didn't really hurt. Dr Barfield was very thorough in explaining the procedure to me and answered all of my and my wife's questions. I will certainly return to Dr Barfield if I need another spine injection.

Dr Barfield saved my life. During the work up process for my back pain, he found a tumor on my spinal cord. I have had surgery now and thank God will not be paralyzed. Thank you Dr Barfield

I have to say that I was nervous being referred to a pain management physician. I have heard so many bad stories from friends and family when they saw another pain physician. I was impressed with how quickly this office scheduled me and the timeliness of getting me into a room. I did wait about 15 minutes for Dr. Barfield to see me after I saw his Nurse Practicioner who was very thourough. Dr. Barfield had all the facts he needed to make a solid diagnosis and educate me on my condition and start a treatment plan. This was a great experience. I am looking forward to continue my treatment at Comprehensive Pain and Rehabilitation. Thank you Dr. Barfield for taking time to educate me and having such a wonderful office staff.

I had severe pain in my neck and arm. No one else could find out what was wrong with me. I love my job but could not concentrate to do my work because of the pain. Dr. Barfield developed a comprehensive plan for my care and now I am pain free and able to return to work. I will always be grateful to Dr. Barfield and would recommend him to EVERYONE!

I was seen as a new patient recently because of nerve pain in my leg. I have has multiple injections by other physicians and have been prescribed high doses of narcotics that just caused me to feel doped. Dr Barfield and his staff were very professional, thorough and took a substantial amount of time to explain treatment strategies to address my pain. Thank you Dr Barfield for not just doping me up, but giving me hope that there is a solution to controlling my pain.

Closed during Easter Holiday . I ouldn't get anyone on the phone or even leave a massge?? What"s up with that ? My meds run out & I have to call monthly to get them to call them . When they're closed for a Holiday & phone line massge states (we are not accepting calls at this time) for several days ; how can you get someone on the phone to call in you preescription? or even leave a message to get someone to work on getting your prescrition called in. I ddo not think this is a good fit for me longterm.

When I first was referred by my family doctor to pain management, I was hesitant as I did not want to be "doped up" or viewed as a "drug seeker". My low back pain had become so severe, I could no lonegr put it off.When I arrived at Comprehensive Pain and Rehabilitation, I was met with smiles at the front desk. The ladies there are very professional and courteous. The wait time to be called back to a room was about 5 minutes and I waited another 10-15 minutes for Dr. Barfield's nurse practicioner to see me. She took my history and did an exam and when Dr. Barfield enterred in the room, he took time and listened to how my pain felt and how it was effecting me. He came up with a treatment strategy that has been very effective at managing my pain with minimal medications. I am back to work now and occasionally return for an injection to "Calm things down a bit". Life is much more enjoyable.Thank you Dr. Barfield and staff for treating me as another human being seeking help to get their life back and not wanting to be drugged.

Dr. Barfield is compassionate, patient and extremely thorough in his exam and testing. He actually explained to me what was going on with my pain and offered me different therapies. He is open and honest about what is the best treatment. I saw some negative reviews which shocked me... it must have been people who just wanted pills. He is a great doctor!

I'he been a patient of Dr. Yearwood's for around 10 yrs and it is very nice to finally have someone else I can trust and cares so much. Always in a good mood and courteous he has very quickly moved to the top of my favorite doctors lists. Thank you Dr. Yearwood for hiring him.

he is the most caring Doctor I have ever seen and, at my age of 69, I have seen a lot.. I have referred several people to him and they, also, agree that he is wonderful. He assesses the problem causing the pain and sees that the proper shot or pain med is administered. I am in a quandry now that he is moving further away from where I live.
