Great experience overall. I hurt my hand falling while ice skating and Dr. Bernstein explained everything very well. I had a high degree of confidence in everything he was telling me based on the tests. The staff was a well oiled machine and I made it in and out in about an hour, including X-rays. Highly recommend.

Dr Bernstein is the best. I have been seeing him now for almost 2 years for wrist pain that upon x ray was diagnosed as ulnar impaction syndrome. After conservative treatment such as casting, cortisone shots, O.T and bracing failed he performed surgery on me last winter. I feel safe and comfortable being under his care. He takes time to explain everything and is easy to get an appointment with. His staff including Katie and Eric are just as awesome. I go to both the Schaumburg and Buffalo Grove offices

I have seen Dr Bernstein for hands and today was for shoulder. He always explains everything in detail. He draws on xray to show you exactly where problem is. Never felt appointment’s were rushed. Answers all your questions and doesn’t make you suffer with treatments that don’t work. Each time I went I was hoping and praying he would give me a Cortisone shot and he did, no making me suffer! He also did my husband’s hand surgery a few years ago and outcome was successful.

Got an appointment after end of regular hours, had to wait awhile but he was very thorough and not rushed, answered all questions and took time to explain.

Very polite, very pleasant, great medical bedside manners, very thorough. Was a very warm Dr and it was my 1st time meeting him.

Short wait for Dr. Bernstein after initial visit with PA Katie Pope. In depth explanation of issues with wrist and shoulder. Injection with lidocaine and cortisone for relief of shoulder pain. Thumb brace was recommended and information was provided for acquisition. Referral for PT for shoulder to begin June 19. Follow up appointment scheduled for July 5. I have seen Dr. Bernstein previously for wrist and shoulder issues including carpal tunnel surgery.

There was some wait time beyond my scheduled appointment in the waiting room and again in the exam room, but overall it was worth it. His assistant Katy was very nice, arrived quickly and was very professional. The x-ray techs were fun and efficient. Dr Bernstein was very good. Personable and thorough. He discussed my issue from all aspects. What it is, how it was genetic, what to expect, how to care for and Jeep and eye in it, and what can be done if it worsens. He detailed all options very thoroughly. He also consulted on a finger scarring issue I have and how to care for it as well as my shoulder issues. Highly recommend.

Dr. Bernstein is professional, compassionate, and talented. I highly recommend him and his clinical staff. I never have to wait too long to be seen, he’s exceptionally thorough and he never makes one feel rushed. He is a wonderful physician.

Excellent visit to discuss hand pain in, both hands. I have seen him before and he was able to relieve my hand pain and stop thumbs from locking. In my opinion he is a competent and considerate Doctor. Very informative, explains and provides information I can take with. Gives you time to consider and ask questions. I trust his diagnosis and would highly recommend.
