Dr Brynes who I call the (Chief) took time to listen to my medical issues and was very patient and caring to my medical needs. I had great pain that was at times un bearable. After he preformed surgery and after my recovery. I have NO Pain. Although I did see other doctors about my severe pain. The Chief diagnosed the issue and surgically repaired my issue. Thank you ??

I have very complicated medical issues. Dr. Byrnes has saved my life on more than once. I can never express my high appreciation to him. Since the very first time I was in the ICU, he took the time to look over my medical history and treat me accordingly every time. He now knows my case well after seeing me numerous times in 4 years. I’ve seen him for surgery and in the ICU. I highly recommend Dr. Byrnes to anyone.

I had an issue with my pancreas and I was fortunate that he was my doctor. We had a plan in case things got worse but after 30 days in the hospital I was able to walk out.

My husband was sent to him after being in Andover for over month. Dr. Byrnes was the one that figured out what my husband had and how to go about in less than one day. He sent us to another location but sent us to the best of the best so he could get the proper care. Because of Dr. Byrnes, my husband's life was saved!

A couple of months ago my 79 year old father was severely anemic. Dr. brynes preformed surgery on him and removed a mass that was stage 3 colon cancer. He Saved my Dads life!!!! He is a very precise and meticulous surgeon!!! He is vague when he talks to you but he is a busy man saving life's!!

Has no bed side manners with his patients. Does not make eye contact when speaking with patient or patients family. Our experience with him on two occasions was not a positive one. Seems to be a very intelligent Doctor just very socially awkward.

He has no consideration whats so ever about the patients needs. Wouldn't listen to the patient. Never came to explain what was done in surgery what results were. Very very rude. I do not recommend him to anyone.

If you need a surgeon in Garden City, Dr. Byrnes is the best choice! He is a very caring and compassionate doctor. He explains the procedure and is very detailed in his work. He has taken care of me both in ICU and a fairly minor surgery. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs a surgeon. If you or someone you know is admitted to the ICU at St. Catherine's, know you are in very good hands with Dr. Byrnes!

This Dr. is the best there is. He is detailed, compassionate and thorough. I would recommend him highly to anyone who is looking for a great surgeon.

Dr. Byrnes is a very personable and caring doctor and surgeron! He truely has the best interest of his patients at heart. Explains things throughly and is available for questions or concerns. Dr. Byrnes took care of my elderly father in a very understanding and respectful manner. Dr. also made the process as comfortable and convienent as possible. I recommend him and his staff to everyone, especially my family and friends.
