My visit to Dr? Kangas was the worse visit to any doctor I have ever made. He was suppose to give me a shot in my lower back for numbness on my left side. He put the shot less than one inch from the crack of my but and a hot burning pain went down my leg and into my back. That burning pain lasted for about four weeks. The numbness is worse and now my left leg has an aching cold pain from my hip to my knee. This was not the actions of a caring and experienced doctor. I’m still in pain and other problems.

Dr. Kangas is the most caring, patient, knowledgeable doctor I have had in my sixty three years! He listens, answers all my questions, and truly cares about my well being. His entire staff, the front desk, all nurses, office staff are so nice....I’m greeted in passing by name always! I adore and trust Dr. Kangas.

I have extreme thoracic nerve damage, splintered ribs and the loss of a rib from a spinal compression. Dr. Kangas has been extremely concerned and caring. I know this is not going to be an easy, quick fix. After my operation the pain continued for months at a high pain level. I asked my orthopedic surgeon to refer me to a pain management doctor. I should have been getting better as days went by. Dr. Kangas immediately diagnosed me with nerve damage after we talked about my symptoms. Rhonda, his PA and entire staff are great. The ladies who administer the ketamine IV’s are the best. Keeping faith we’ll find a treatment to calm the nerve pain. I wouldn’t have another doctor......I feel confident and safe under his treatment.

I have undergone 5 surgeries to my right arm and diagnosed with type 1 CRPS. Dr Kangus has went above and beyond to help me with pain management and he will keep trying until he finds the right combination of what works for each individual. He also communicates with my orthopedic doctors to devise the best plan of care for me. He listens attentively no matter how busy he is. I am we’ll please with his services.

He is very kind, listens intently to what you have to say. If you have a complaint with any of his staff or office procedures, he will have it resolved immediately. His staff are all very caring & understanding. I have been extremely happy with him & his office. I’m recommending him to anyone I think could use his help.

Compassionate Doctor ! Communicates well and listens . He helped me the first time I saw him . He administered a nerve block the same day. His assistant was kind and called insurance company to get the ball rolling so I could get out of pain. Thank you to Dr. Tabor for calling Dr. Kangas to Come that same day to help me. I truly feel that I have found the right pain specialist. Thank you so much !
