Dr Karpenko is an outstanding Dr, he really cares for his patients, he sees them as family. He made me and my husband know that he would guide us through this process, he has been there every step of the way. If you are looking for an Oncologist that really cares, he is your guy.

I met Dr. Karpenko in Pinehurst, NC. He explained talked to me as a person and explained things never talking down to me. Always on time. No wait. I did not feel rushed. He gave me options and upfront with my diagnosis. He gave me options to delay my treatment so I can live my life and adjusted the chemo so I didn't feel so sick. Highly responsive. Got all my FMLA paperwork and insurance forms done ASAP. Would highly recommend him.

I was with Dr K in Salisbury MD with a difficult case of aggressive NHL. He was attentive and immediately admitted me to the hospital and started chemotherapy which saved my life. He was with me through the entire 5 day ordeal keeping my family and I up to date on my treatment and prognosis. After 2 rounds of 6 I am cancer free!!! Thank you Dr K for your expertise, knowledge, compassion, and care to get me through this awful experience. You made it great and cannot thank you enough.

Great personality and wonderful doctor. I don't know where he went but must have good reasons. Sorry to see him leave, He was the best and whoever gets him is very lucky to have him. Talks to me like a family member and does what is best for me. It's apparent that he loves what he does. He went above and beyond to help me. All the very best to you Dr. K in your future endeavors. Dr. Karpenko is a kind and compassionate physician. He does what he thinks is best for me and is not afraid to get a second opinion if needed. He works well with outside cancer centers and coordinates my care locally. Keeps me informed and in the loop. He's on time. Office is clean and the staff at HOA is the best! Thank you all for everything you do. Would not go anywhere else.

Dr. Karpenko is highly knowledgeable in every way. He is a genius, brilliant doctor who is relentless in helping patients. He always calls me to update my me on my care and does it with my family. In fact he's amazing with family and truly has compassion in every way. I love that he understands the quality of life aspect from working in hospice. He's a human being who will sit and talk with you. Auburn is lucky to have him. I without a doubt have the best doctor and the best team taking care of my at HOA-CNY.

I hear he even is the Medical Director for Hospice and Palliative Care for Cortland County which says a lot about his character, humbleness and compassion. I wish he could be my primary doctor. Dr. Karpenko is unlike another doctor. He treats every case differently and uniquely. He is kind, compassionate, a good listener and knowledgeable about my condition. I would highly recommend him. Dr. Karpenko is a highly educated well trained physician. I was facing a difficult diagnosis and given months to live. It is now well over a year and I do not feel or look like a cancer patient.
