January 12th to check on knee problem I had. Dr. Smith showed me the X-ray and explained the problem with my knee. Very professional and office staff was great.

I was well informed on the knee replacement surgery from the beginning and all the way through therapy

5 minute wait time. Saw Sarah Beth for follow up after knee surgery. Explained everything well. Feel like I’m getting great care.

Dr Smith has a perfect track record with me with regard to arm and leg issues. In particular; a quick recovery from a knee and soon after hip replacement surgery. I do feel that it needs to be said though, the whole process goes quite well when you listen, understand then follow both preop and post op directions.

Great doctor. Bedside manner was good. Everything he told was true and everything worked out just like he said it would. Will always see him when going there

2 nd time to see him for same knee (COVID and life got in the way last time. Quite thorough in exam and discussing diagnosis. Just waiting until my surgery date to arrive. Practice was quite busy ( 1 hour wait time) but thankful for the ability to get an appointment as soon as I did.

Dr. Smith and his P.A., Sarah Beth are amazing! They take the time to explain the procedure and answer any questions you may have. I could not be more pleased with my joint replacements.

Took all the time we needed for questions and options. He was very patient and caring.

Dr Smith is not like other doctors in that he more then ready to explain things in a way that the normal person could understand. Dr Smith has surrounded himself with awesome people to make the visit a pleasure.

Seems very condescending toward women. It was our second visit together my husband and I and both times in general conversation and in treatment he carried on a conversation and when I tried to join he talked over me and just kept talking to my husband. As far as treatment, we.both had the same injury mine not quite as bad as my husband but he talked in length to him. Had him stand make certain movements that would cause pain and asked if kept him from sleeping and for me he just said "same area just not as bad as his". Never even touched me, let alone had me raise or move my limb. Generally wanted to discuss my husband as he was going to do surgery for him. Most of the time I felt like he acted like I wasn't even in the room. Felt very belittled as a person and about my pain. If your male he's probably a great Dr.

I was referred to Dr. Smith by a friend for a knee problem. I've had surgery in Birmingham and Huntsville and never got any better. He was able to fix my problem, and has been great through the entire process. Highly recommend.

Very caring, listened to my every concern patiently, office was very busy but I never felt rushed to finish my visit. He seemed very knowledgeable. The chatter in the waiting room was that everybody loved him, I’ll certainly come back.
