He did a great job w/my left eye, since all I contracted to have done is replace my natural lens w/ a new one. My right eye was to also have a astigmatism corrected as well as replacing my natural lens. This astigmatism correction attempt was a failure! It was over-corrected creating considerable blurry vision, pain lasting for weeks, and a portion of the cornea to be lifted and, for a few weeks, not healing. Dr. Ralstin worked w/ me for an additional 3 visits attempting to correct that defect as much as possible. He placed a clear contact lens over the eye and had me keep it there for 8-10 days. This compressed the raised portion of the cornea, reducing pain and allowing the separated segments to heal closed. He had me return a month later, and observed that the astigmatism was still significant. I was given the 2 choices of either returning for at least 1 more visit so he could put 2 stitches in my cornea, or have my $1300 reimbursed that I paid for the astigmatism correction. After more than 8 weeks of messing with this I decided to just drop it and receive my $1300 refund! (which I am still waiting for)
