Dr. Ramsey is an excellent physician/surgeon who truly cares about his patients. He listens to your concerns & takes the time to answer your questions. I trust him & would recommend him to my family & friends.

I’d recommend Rothman and Dr Ramsey for shoulder surgery to anyone. Rothman is efficient and thorough and Dr Ramsey, besides being a top notch surgeon, has a great personality and bedside manner. He takes his time with you and treats you like an individual person, not just another number in his resume. He and his team (Deborah and Tom) are just great! My rotator cuff surgery was done perfectly and though full gain of function is taking way longer than I would like (I was warned about this), I would not hesitate to get this surgery again. At least the pain is gone and I believe keeping up with rehab will get me back to normal by the year they say it can take. And believe them when they tell you it can take that long. There are no miracles or shortcuts with rotator cuff surgery.

Dr. Matthew Ramsey corrected a botched left elbow surgery from another doctor. I had fallen and a chunk off the end came off. I had very limited rotation, extention an flexibility. I am so pleased with his expertise and skill. I felt I was going to be limited for the rest of my life. I'm 59 and was expecting my first grandchild. I was afraid I could not pick her up. He exuded confidence and put my fears to rest at our first meeting. Most importantly, he delivered! His talents and the work with Premier Physical Therapy, have me back to a regular life. I am playing basketball, coaching baseball and looking forward to golf this spring. Dr. Ramsey is also very personable and he listens. God bless him and thank you Rothman!

I had rotator cuff surgery in Feb 2021 by a different surgeon at a different practice. The surgeon was nice and helpful before and 2 months after the surgery. I am slow at recovery, and the surgeon turned on me implying it's my fault I'm not progressing normally, as he kept telling me to make sure I do my at home stretches and excerises. I was doing them everyday, as required. After several months of this, a friend recommended I see Dr Ramsey. Dr Ramsey listened and accessed I had frozen shoulder and that it was normal. He took his time explaining everything. He was patient to answer all my questions. He recommended another physical therapy office. It's been two months with Ramsey and the other physical therapy place and I am glad to see actual improvements. I highly recommend seeing Dr Ramsey for your shoulder issues.

I recently had a reverse shoulder replacement by Dr. Ramsey who was highly recommended by a doctor from Mass General in Boston. My high expectations were exceeded in every way. He was easy to reach, he listened to all of my concerns and he went over and above to address these concerns. The surgery and recovery went better then expected. He is definitely a doctor at the top of his game.

Dr. Ramsey is very professional, courteous and thorough. He repaired my right shoulder and the recovery was minimal compared to what I expected. All follow ups have been easy as he is enjoyable to be around. Highly recommended.

My name is Bruce Kuronya for years I went to OAA in Allentown but when the injections didn't work anymore. He suggested I go to Rothman . I met Dr Ramsey and his team. I was totally nervous before but once I met Dr Ramsey and his team I actually knew I was in the right hands I was so at ease. He and his team informed me everything thing I will go thru I was really at ease.As everything that was going on that day I was operated and my recovery and I knew what was going on and what was next. I was in the loop every minute. Dr Ramsey is like talking to a friend not a Doctor he is so comfortable talking with him. I was just thinking I could ask him anything and he gives you a straight answer. I am glad I met Dr Ramsey and am glad he's my friend..And if I need anymore care or operations I will go to Rothman.
