Dr Bernard performed a total hip replacement on me and I lost a year of my life with pain and suffering. I gave him a one star because he did surgery on the correct leg. He is very dashing and personable but I wouldn’t let him near my dog. I found a second provider to repair his error.

Dr Bernard is a caring Dr. He displayed concern with both my hips my very first visit with him. 4 days post op with my first THR and still haven't had much pain. I've text him a couple of times and he's prompt isn replying and calling me back himself. Looking forward to the other hip replacement in 6 weeks.

Dr Bernard is a liar & I wouldn't recommend him to my dog! He lied to my Fiancé when he ask about a Anterior hip replacement! He told him that they couldn't do those in the Chattanooga area because they didn't have the tables for it! LIED!! So he did Posterior full hip replacements on both hips & he has had problems ever since! His left hip has popped out of socket 5 times already & he may NEVER have a normal life again because of him & Dr Mary Hubbard!! I'm so over Dr's not taking responsibility for their actions & letting patients just have to deal with their mistakes!

Dr Bernard was totally unprofessional on my first visit. He was rude and cruel. He took his anger at somebody else out on me as he stared that he would never work on an overweight person.

Bedside manner was excellent. Very informative and I was made to feel at ease. Thank you for such a pleasant visit and keep smiling.

Same day surgery to Normal 2- or 3-night hospital stay Having the option to choose Dr. Bernard’s (Fast Track) was very important to me, because my husband has health problems that have developed quickly. If all the above isn’t enough wait until you meet his wonderful staff Mary Hubbard, FNP and Rachel, MA. The truth is from the time you call to make your first appointment at Center for Sports Medicine all their staff are helpful and respectful.

I have been pleased with the level of care I am receiving from Dr. Bernard. He has a great bedside manner and will not sugar coat the situation of your health. His team provides excellent care. When it is time I will certainly have him replace my other knee.

I have suffered for 14 months with a knee surgery performed by Dr. Bernard. Which he claims is absolutely perfect. Each time I went back he claimed there was nothing wrong with my knee. Well my knee has been in horrible pain and I am in the process of having it done a second time. Please save yourself a lot of grief and do not use this doctor.

My wife and I are very grateful to have Dr. Bernard as our orthopedic doctor. His expertise has helped us many times, and he always has a positive outlook and a great sense of humor.
