I have been to plenty of doctors. Dr. Miglietta is unlike anyone else. He really gave me the impression he cared. He even gave me his personal cell phone number if my family had any futher questions. After my surgery, he came to check on me the minute he found out I was awake. I would recommend him 100 times over. Thank you for everything Dr. Miglietta

I worked as a medical device rep in the area for many years in NJ/NYC/CT. I’ve seen thousands of surgeries from many surgeons across the tri-state. Dr. Miglietta was the only one who I trusted to do my own surgery. He cares and truly defines every skill-set one would hope a surgeon will have. In addition, he was the first surgeon in Bergen County to perform the single-site lap chole procedure. He’s always looking to do right for his patients and challenges himself to continue learning better techniques in surgery to go more minimally invasive so patients don’t have to live with large scars. I cannot recommend him enough. Excellent surgeon and a good person.

Dr. Miglietta performed my emergency surgery with care and compassion. Everyone in the hospital goes to him for themselves or family members. That's how I knew I have gotten a great surgeon. He took the time to explain everything to me but not like most doctors....but actually like a person I could talk to. Nothing but amazing things to say about this kind man who saved my life.

Dr. Migs came to operate on me in the middle of the night. He answered my questions and called my family after surgery. Palisades Hospital is a nightmare but Dr. Miglietta made the experience better.

I think I asked 20 minutes worth of questions, he answered them all before surgery. I had to remain in the hospital for observation and he checked on me often and asked how I was holding up. He is an excellent surgeon.

I cannot begin to explain how DR. Miglietta touched my life. I would’nt be here today if it weren’t for him.

Dr. Miglietta is wonderful. He did my mom's gall bladder surgery. We were concerned, because she is 86 years young, but he was so wonderful and answered all of our questions. Both pre-op & post op. The added bonus was that he speaks fluent Italian so my mom could communicate with him. He was wonderful! Thank you!

Dr. Miglietta is excellent. he is very professional and experienced. He is also a very kind person. He performed Appendectomy on my husband and he was home the very next day. Dr.Miglietta is great!

As a daughter of a Medical Doctor, I am largely aware of the life style one must get accustomed to when it comes to waiting to see/speak with a Doctor. However, my experience at Palisades Medical Center takes the cake. I was only familiar with my surgeon by his name. It was only until I searched him on google did I find out what he looks like. I spent three days in the hospital and I did not see him pre-surgery nor post-surgery. Trying to contact him for a post-op visit is like a maze. Most of his phone numbers are disconnected and I wound up calling a 1-800 number. His surgical residents were a blessing. I cannot say the same about MR. Miglietta. One should learn bed-side manner if ONE wants to be called such a prestigious title.

Didn't spend time with me before or after... Upset

Dr. Miglietta performed emergency surgery on a punctured appendix and basically saved my life.

Arrogant, lazy, and treats his residents like slaves. He never visited me after surgery, and I was hospitalized for over a week. He's only interested in your money. Stay away from this doctor!

I had a recent appendicitis that was treated by Dr. Miglietta. He did my surgery after rushing me to sign the consent and not answering any of my questions. He never even saw me after surgery when I was in the hospital for another 5 days! He makes his residents do all of his work and treats them so poorly. I don't even know if he did my operation or if it was the residents because I only met him once right before my surgery. His residents seem so caring and hardworking and bright - what a shame they have Dr. Miglietta as a role model.

Dr. Miglietta operated on my father for a bowel obstruction in February. He was excellent post surgery in explaining what was going on with my dad. He treated the family with respect and was comforting while not sugarcoating his findings. In addition to his top notch surgical skill, his wonderful bedside manner and responsiveness helped us get though a difficult time.

This doctor saved my life, after being brought into an emergency room, suffering from complications of a botched procedure two days prior by another doctor. H e performed an iliostomy (Surgery/perforated bowel repair). My hospital stay was for 21 days & he was with me every step of the way. He was very comforting and compassionate with my family, friends & myself. Many complications during the past nine months, which had nothing to do with his surgery, but throughout he reassured me that my surgery was reversible & so nine months later, I have had my second surgery (reversal) by Dr. Miglietta & am thrilled to report that I am doing fine, feeling good, hopeful for 100% recovery. I would recommend him as he is an excellent Doctor for any type of general surgery. He truly gave me back my life!
