Dr. Max Prely Benzaquen, MD

Dr. Benzaquen is amazing! The only dr. I have ever had that seems to care and wants to help!

I've been a patient since 2014 when I had several TIA's and I've been happy with Dr Benzaquen. I see lot of nasty comments about his staff and I've never had an issue with them and never had to wait for an appointment more than 10-15min at most. Also Dr. Benzaquen listens well and has explained things to me and I've had no real issues understanding him even with his ascent. Btw, under his care I've had no reoccurrence of any TIA's or other strokes so can't beat that.

Wait time long-left the room two times to talk to reps. Office a mess.

I have called 3 times in 1 week, they never call back .Dr says, oh you must have called wrong #. Are you kidding me? Doc I can tell you exactly what your machine says. She says she'll send something right away she never does. Wait weeks for a simple MRI result. Weeks for a referral. Then she tells you one thing, next week a different excuse. This office is not worth the headaches. Idk how a receptionist can be so bad.

Without looking at my scans he comes in and tells me I have headaches because i'm overweight (I had just had a baby 4 weeks ago). I actually had a brain tumor. Terrible bedside manor and very rude

The office is a mess and the dr kept walking in and out of the room to see other patients. We only used him because he saw our son in the hospital. Cannot wait to switch

Very quick to diagnosis with short assessment - Pill pusher!

I have called them because my physical therapist asked me to because I was still having pain this was over 2 weeks ago and I still have not heard back from this office.

Can I give him zero stars????? Very rude doctor. Didn't want to explain things about the diagnosis he gave my husband. Was very rude to family during a difficult time. When I told him I thought his behavior was inappropriate, he told me he was tired and didn't want to deal with anything and then told me to go home. We switched doctors immediately and got someone who actually cares. Not to mention his office is disgusting. That should have been the clue to the quality of care you receive from him. Stay away from this guy.

He is very knowlegeable. I would recommend Max Benzaquen to all my friends and family.

fIRST TIME THERE, HE SPENT LESS THAN 5 MINS WITH ME, PRESCRIBED MEDICINE I WAS ALLERGIC TO, WHICH WAS STATED IN MY CHART. WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED AS I'D HAD HIGH HOPES FOR HELP.

He has been through a lot of office staff. They have not been great and still are not. Communication skills are not the best, but he seems to be a great doctor.

I watched Dr. Benaquen staff as they where unkind to an african american patient and his wife, that had been waiting for over an hour and i also witness your staff break the privacy act with them. I felt so bad for that couple until I told them they are more than welcome to go ahead of me. The wife replied that ok, we will wait to see what happens. I feel no one should ever be treated the way that that couple was treated by Dr. Benzaquen and his staff..

unbelievably inept staff.

Office staff is terrible. Followup on calls is nonexistent.
