Dr. Acuff and his staff are the BEST!

Dr. Acuff immediately struck me as completely understanding my spinal cord problems. Even issues I felt embarrassed to discuss were things he felt were important to talk about, and soon we were like partners in my health. I have never wanted to have to take medications for my spinal cord injury, however, in working with Dr. Acuff, I have developed a much better quality of life due to less pain and more ability to deal with stress, spasms, and the anxiety that comes with a life-threatening illness. I also feel Dr. Acuff is quick to admit when he does not know an answer and just as quick to try to help me track down that answer. Overall, he is a very good doctor.

I have a spinal cord injury and Dr. Acuff really understands the pain and lack of function that causes. He keeps an eye on my lab values, too. His office is very professional but cozy and feels like you are seeing family. He also remembers to call a few weeks after seeing a patient to ask how they are doing with new meds or the lack thereof. I really think he is great!
