Dr. Michael Paul Battaglino, MD

This is the 2nd colonoscopy that Dr. Battaglino was my physician. I would highly recommend him with his very soft spoken, caring bedside manner. The prep nurse was great as was the annessist! The 1st nurse in recovery was a little rough around the edges and seemed to be in more of rush to either leave for the day or go on break. I will say the nurse that relived her was A LOT more caring and concerned with the pain I was experiencing which can be normal with this procedure; I was happy that she was there vs the 1st nurse whom was pushing on my stomach without any kind of notice she was doing that. Overall pleased and I'll be back to have Dr. Battaglino perform another colonoscopy.

Second procedure in 5 years. Excellent communications from doctor and his nurse. Excellent results. Excellent follow-up.

this is the third procedure Dr. Battaglino has preformed on me covering fifteen years. On all occasions, I have been extremely satisfied with both his bedside manner and also his explanation of the results of my colonoscopy. How can a doctor have great bedside manner & be such a good diagnostician? Well, this man is BOTH!! He never fails to impress me....I am a retired nurse after 36 years of nursing. This procedure was much easier than I thought! It was great to meet Dr Battaglino. We spoke before and after the procedure. His nurses and assistants were incredibly friendly and calming! Thank you and see you in another 10 years.

The entire staff was excellent. I met Dr. Battaglino on previous visits accompanying a family member for their colonoscopy. I liked him immediately. I requested him for my colonoscopy as he explained everything that I asked and more and did it in a very warm and reassuring way. The procedure itself was easy. The followup instructions and report about the colonoscopy were thorough and answered all the questions that came to mind after I was home. It was an excellent experience. I highly recommend Dr. Battaglino and his team.

This is my second visit (every 5 years). You're not goona find a team any better. They make you feel relaxed upon entering the office, until leaving. This team is great. Highly recommended!

My first and second experience with Dr. Battaglino and his staff were completely satisfactory. It is always a good sign when your primary care physician gives you a referral to the doctor they use for cancer screening procedures.

I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Michael Battaglino. Having had bad experiences with other Gastroenterologists, I was extremely impressed with his reassuring demeanor, professionalism while remaining very warm and caring. I would highly reccommend Dr. Battaglino and the Wake Endoscopy Center. Everyone I dealt with there was wonderful!

What can I say about my Dr. Battaglino except that he is tops in my book. He is so thorough in listening to my story when I come in with a problem. His bedside manner is impeccably warn, reassuring and projecting calmness to the patient. I am at total peace both before and after the procedure. My wife and I perceive him first more as a "family friend" then as our professional medical care provider. We love him both as an individual and our doctor.

Colonoscopy, busy but very efficient office. Never felt rushed or pushed though the system. Definitely would recommend.

I've been seeing Dr. Battaglino for three years now. He treats me as a unique individual rather than a number like previous doctors I've seen. When I was first diagnosed, he knew I was concerned, and called me personally with my biopsy results. I will continue seeing him as long as he is in practice.

Dr Battaglino is one of the most professional , capable and trustworthy physicians that have attended to me. Today I had my second colonoscopy with him and his manner and competence remain as high as in my first experience with him over 10 years ago. I have had 3 colonoscopies by Dr. Battaglino and had no problems with any of them.He has a very pleasant bedside manner and a good sense of humor. I would reccomend him to others for their gastrointestinal problems.

Dr. Battaligno- refused to see me after one visit without ever listening to any of my concerns beyond the one visit. The medical findings were leaning in one direction and we went with that assessment until we found that was not the issue -then he said he couldn't help me anymore -referred me to Duke or UNC and refused to call me.

My experience with Dr. Battaglino regarding my procedure was very positive. Everyone involved with the preparation of the procedure and post procedure was first class. Dr. Battaglino is very professional and answered all my questions pre procedure and post procedure. First class experience.

Dr. Battaglino was a great doctor and the person who referred me to him was right about him he is a great Dr. His bedside manner was the best. He asked me a bunch of questions before they put me out and made sure all my questions were answered before I went to sleep. I would recommend the practice to anyone I knew. All in all the wait time was very short, front desk staff check me in quickly and I was just very happy with the entire experience.
