He comes in exam room agitated, rude and when I try to speak and tell him how bad pain and changes in my spine are he is rude and interrupts and tells me, "So, Tell me why you're here today", and I try to tell him again and he rudely interrupts again and tells me, "I only have 2 minutes and other patients to see", then he still does not allow me to express my concerns and he c rushes out exam room still less than those 2 minutes and when he never returns back I finally open the exam room door to call to a nurse or for him and he's no where in sight and a medical asst. tells me he's with other patients and that I could go now. I explained that he has not given me my prescriptions so asst. walks me to front desk and they said they already sent my scripts to my pharmacy electronically, but once I left Dr. Burdine's office that day...my pharmacy had still never received my scripts from them. The next week comes and each day I am still calling my pharmacy as well as Dr. Burdine office but to no avail. I kept calling and was forced to leave his nurse (who I later found out she was out sick for a while) messages pleading for them to call my meds in to my pharmacy. THEIR POLICY when leaving his nurse a message states when transferred to her voicemail, that you must allow the nurse 72 hours/3days to return your call and not to leave multiple messages, and they never do refills of med'school on Friday's. Well, when no-one still responded day after day, I called and told their front desk that I was up the road from them at my other medical appt. and mentioned that i'll be driving to Dr. Burdine's shortly to come pick up my medication prescriptions myself because NO NURSE or anyone has still attempted to return my call or send my scripts in to my pharmacy still. But front desk told me "No, do not just come up here, I'll give the nurse your message to call you". Again, no call came. I was home 2 more days later and my pharmacy told me that Dr. Burdine sent only 1 of my scripts in and when they told me that he dropped my Norco meds down to 5's and he only prescribed about 2 weeks worth, well, I was shocked and upset too. I was born with chronic and severe painful conditions that there is NO CURES FOR and prognosis worsens. My kids are also affected and so will their children be because there is no cure for these. He took away ALL OF MY OTHER MEDICINES, everything, and now he only gives me 1 medicine at its lowest form, Norco 5, but only about 2 weeks worth of it if I stretch it out. He is very aware that I also suffer from other injuries when I was hurt this year and suffer from those injuries as well from accident. I cannot get my pain med from my family's primary. Dr. Burdine never treats me or even looks at me kindly. I've never been to any other pain treatment doctor before, never. I found out that no-one else will see patients who want to seek other pain management treatment elsewhere because once the other Dr.'s offices hear you've been under Dr. Burdine care, well, they just dismiss me and do not want to take me as a patient. I've not been discharged or fired by Dr. Burdine's office, but it's like he does NOT want to be my doctor because his actions are pushing and forcing me away to have to seek help elsewhere, but how can I do ghat with all these road blocks? His office told me it was his own choice to take away my other message and his decision to knock my Norco down to less than 2 weeks worth and down to Norco 5's. It's a disgrace how I am suffering severely. For the first time ever, I read on hear you people's experiences with him and his office too. It's a SHAME that good, honest folks with no other options for pain management cannot seek and find help to any accord. It should be illegal that he can just walk into an exam room and then quickly WALTZ out and then choose to NOT prescribe any medicines that will help to ease my/our pain just to help us mobilize and be able to complete the few minor daily tasks we are forced to do at home just to survive. IT'S NOT GOOD WHEN YOU HAVE TO SUFFER 24 HOURS EVERY DAY OF YOUR LIFE, "EVERY WAKING MOMENT OF EVERY SECOND!" My diagnoses are chronic, permanent and affects every and absolutely 100% of my body, inside & out!!! Dr. Burdine has NOT ordered or performed any test or other to see if my conditions have worsen or improved and he just thinks that everyone, EVERYONE & I GUESS that includes mr, that we are all drug addicts, etc.... I DO NOT SMOKE, NEVER EVEN DRINKER AND NEVER TOOK DRUGS BEFORE and never been accused of it either. But, Dr. Burdine passes judgement which makes the honest, innocent folks like myself SUFFER!!!!! PAIN IS PAIN and when it's CHRONIC & PERMANENT, it totally takes away your ability to have & live life!!! Dr. Burdine SHAME-ON-YOU!!!!!!!!! YOU need 2 treat people, all people with the DIGNITY & RESPECT they deserve. YOU know how, but, you've been doing this for so long that YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN that we are people, REAL PEOPLE, and NOT all of us are DISHONEST or drug-abusers either. You should NOT condemn honest persons such as myself to SUFFER because of what your experiences with bad patients or drug abusers have done to you. I TRULY AM SUFFERING DR. BURDINE. Wish I could help you see that and have you treat me the way you first did.
