Dr. Given is both professional and down to earth. Although he is sympathetic to your troubles, he is the doctor who will tell you what you need to hear, not just what you want to hear. As my husband puts it... we're not paying for him to be sugar, we're paying for his expertise. In my experience, he is not a cookie-cutter doctor, but thinks outside the box to come up with the best possible solution for me. Dr. Given is also well-known in this area by other physicians. Almost every other doctor I have visited, like the female doctor or the respiratory therapist, all have commented on his brilliance as a physician when they find out he is my GP. I have been told numerous times he is the doctor I want to have treating me, especially for anything serious. Those comments are better than any I could give. The supporting staff is likewise friendly and professional. They return phone calls within a day, quickly take care of prescriptions and are very flexible with appointments. I would highly recommend Dr. Given and his office to anyone.

Dr. Givens is very attentive and supportive of my symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, and depression. The staff and himself are very kind and understanding. Can't wait to go back after I fill my script!

Dr. Given is a great doctor who cares a lot about his patients. I’ve never met a doctor that knew his patient so well. It sucks that Sacred Heart turned their backs on him, he didn’t deserve it, nor did his patients.

Dr. Given greets every patient in the waiting room and spends as much time with them as necessary, which is a really nice change. He stays current on all the latest medical research so he know about the newest treatments and medicines before any of the other doctors in our area.

Went to appoint and note on the door said closed and there were eo0le on oxygen left stranded. Where are all my records and? Saw him for 7 years and I want my records!

Literally told my dad that he had a serious lung condition, told him to go home and Google it, and to come back in six months. No medications prescribed or lifestyle advice given.

Two years ago I died three times and was brought back to life at the Fort Walton Medical Center and Dr. Given was an integral part of bringing me back to life. I was hospitalized for a total of 96 days over 45 was under another Medical Center and I was in and out of coma's and have no memories of that time. But after Dr. Given's was notified and I was transferred to Fort Walton and basically brought back to life. I owe him a lot and really hate that his practice closed. I wish him only the best as he is an excellent practitioner and a Gentleman.

Dr Givens was my Primary Care...I called to schedule a regular appointment and was told that ''due to circumstances beyond their control the office is closed until further notice.'' No notice or warning...no meds refills....nothing...I had to find a new doctor quickly as my meds were running out and I needed blood work and a Pulmonary Function Test...I think Sacred Heart Medical Group owes the patients an explaination...
