Your life depends on finding a competent, truly caring doctor who has morals and values and will help you to survive. This is not the one for you. He cares about making as much money as possible, and giving you whatever treatment he feels will accomplish that. You cannot believe Dr. Hanus. It is too late for me and others, but I hope you listen and find someone else. He’s manipulative, sweet and caring acting, but he is not at all interested in you as he worked with a radiation machine that was broken for years, sending radiation to the wrong parts of patients, burning them in the wrong places, knew this for years, yet let people think the machine had been fixed. He did not care that his patients weren’t getting the radiation they needed where they needed it. Please, for yourself believe another cancer patient and do not go to him.

I was asked for "estimated amounts due after insurance." I provided two months' worth. Despite not having radiation at all in the second month (the patient died--that's another story), they refused to refund that month's estimated payment. They said, "This is how it's going to work. You will not receive a dime back until we are paid what we are due from your insurance." I protested on my credit card. Then they lied and said I had not canceled an appointment and were therefore entitled to keep my money.

I found Dr. Hanus to be one of the few doctors who has excellent communication skills, takes the time to explain your diagnosis, and review the ramifications of your test results. We are fortunate to have a physician of his caliber in Naples.

In 2014, Dr. Hanus administered low-dose radiation to my lower abdomen to treat suspected lymphonic cancer. I have had no symptoms since, and a clean bill of health from Dr. Rubin. It was not only a great medical experience, but Dr. Hanus is a personable man, who appreciated me as a male human being. Total recommendation!

I received radiation therapy from Dr. Hanus 5 years ago. I had a very rare cancer that most doctors in Naples had never even heard of, but Dr. Hanus was extremely knowledgable and made me feel 100% confident in the course of treatment. I found him, and his staff, to be very caring and compassionate at all times.

Arrogant and wants the money more than what is best for your health. Plays mind games to confuse patient into giving in to more radiation than needed or necessary. Untrustworthy. Run.

The North Naples radiation machine is frequently broken and they don’t know it until it burns someone in the wrong area. Some of the staff is careless about giving you the correct amount of radiation. Do not see this Dr. for your own sake.

Dr. Hanus is a great doctor, he explains everything to you about your procedure. In my case Breast Cancer Radiation. I was scared to death about this disease and how to cope with it. Dr. Hanus spends a lot of time with you and is very professional and caring. His nurse Jody is great to. Not that I want to come here every day for 5 weeks, but this is what I have to do, the Bonita Springs office is a very friendly place, the staff is great. I would defiantly recommend Dr. Hanus to anybody who needs this kind of treatment, hes a gem.

Recurrent cancer after 24 years. First time with radiation. Dr. Hanus answered all my questions and made me feel like I was not just a number and gave me hope. He trained at MD Anderson which also gave me confidence in his ability to help me.

Dr Hanus has been an excellent doctor during my treatment for breast cancer. he has spent an amazing amount of time with me , has been very clear on the procedures and what to expect over time . He as an excellent assistant in Jody . I highly recommend him.

No, I would not reccomend this doctor. Your valid questions will not be answered. Expect subliminal mind suggestion/control and the patient must read between the lines as to what he really means. He is not direct and will interrupt you if you try to tell him you've had many cat scans and need the lowest dose. I went in with hope and after intense radiation, came out with no hope of not contracting a radiation induced cancer. Beware.

I had a preliminary visit with Dr. Hanus and by far he was the best, most informative doctor I have had to deal dealing with my cancer diagnosis. He explained everything and even gave information and referrals that my surgeon and oncologist should have given way before I went to see him. He spent so much time during the visit trying to make me confortable and giving me all the treatment details that I was really impressed because usually I only get 10 minutes out of any doctor after they make me wait for at least 30 minutes. I recommend this doctor and I can't wait to start treatment and move on with my life. Not sure why the bad reviews, it may have to do with the patient's approach, some people seem to be out there just to cause problems.

This doctor is a politician, not compassionate. He and the staff at 21st Century Oncology were rude and insulting. In my case he was arrogant and pompous. I was not treated with respect for someone frightened with a diagnosis of cancer.

21st Century staff rudely insuled me when in shock diagnozed with breast cancer. Dr. Hanus did not explain traumatic procedure although I asked. He was arrogant and unapologetic. I received no compassionate treatment by staff or doctor.

Have had one visit but I have a gut feeling this Dr. is going to help us. I love the way he spent time with us and given us some hope! I will post again when treatments are done.

Beware. This doctor is a smooth talking Napoleon. I was rudely insulted by the staff at 21st Century and he did not explain the trauma of first time therapy. I receied no appologies only ridculous excuses. I've been in therapy 2 yrs now for mental damage done.
