Dr. Michael Scott Hewitt, MD

I gave Dr. Hewitt a five star rating. I would give him more if I could. I have had two shoulder surgeries (one left and one right) . Dr Hewitt thoroughly and expertly explains the medical problem and gives a range of solutions. Including surgery. I have total confidence in his knowledge and ability.

I highly recommend Dr. Hewitt! He was thorough in his exam and we discussed what worked and didn't work with previous attempts to address my rotator cuff tear. He also provided options that a previous ortho did not. I'm currently weighing the options provided, but the experience I had was definitely top notch!

Dr. Hewitt is an incredible doctor and surgeon! He has repaired my bicep tendons & rotator cuff tendons on both my right and left shoulders. He takes the time to listen to your concerns and completes a through examination. He is wonderful at giving you the information you need to make a wise decision about your health. The best part is he explains everything at a level you can understand along with a great sense of humor and bedside manner. His assistant, Dana, is also very supportive, knowledgeable and keeps communication updated. He has truly made a difference in my life and I am so grateful to him for giving me my health back. I would highly recommend Dr. Hewitt!!!

Dr. Hewitt repaired one of my shoulders several years ago, it only made sense to go back for my other shoulder. I live up north but was very pleased with the first surgery, I never even thought of going anywhere else.

Dr. Hewitt repaired both of my rotator cuffs. His team made this an easy process. Even though I live north of Denver I chose to have him perform my surgeries, I have confidence in him as my surgeon. I would highly recommend him to others as an orthopedic surgeon.

Mike Hewitt is SUPERFLY amazing! He is super approachable, super funny (in the most respectful way), and super caring. Mike has performed surgery on BOTH of my shoulders, and my husbands knee. Mike is nicely conservative, yet does not minimize your orthopedic issues or treatment. He and his staff at COC place your needs and concerns at the forefront of their objective; to take good care, and follow up with the utmost bedside manner and concern!

Outstanding experience with Dr. Hewitt. He has great bedside manner and did an excellent job with my surgery.

I got as far as actually scheduling my surgery...I already had developed mixed feelings about whether to proceed, dr Hewitt made an exceptionally good impression on me, however I became extremely disenchanted dealing with his personal assistant...she came across as having neither compassion or understanding, and had a knack for answering questions and responding to requests in a degrading and overbearing manner; while she was not going to be performing the surgery itself she was the liaison between the patient to be and the doctor himself, making his choice of who to surround himself with quite suspect. it is unfortunate, we both could very well have lost on this one.

Dr. Hewitt is personable, knowledgable and caring. It did take a week and a follow up phone call to get an appointment made for an injection by a different doctor but that was the assistant not Dr. Hewitt. I will continue to go to Dr. Hewitt for my orthopedic needs and I would recommend him to family and friends.

After being in continuous pain for 6 months, I went to him and he knew what I needed, had the surgery, and I'm doing so much better! I can't thank him enough.He's very busy, but that says something about his practice.

This dr thinks highly of himself and he is a good dr, but his assistant is very rude and not helpful. I have spent hours waiting in his office and after the surgery (including immediately after)don't bother him.
