Dr. Carl is not just a fantastic doctor, he is a kind and caring man. He takes the time to actually listen. He has been my neurologist for over 7 years and I can't imagine what I would do without him.

He is the best pain management dr. He listens to you and always try's to help.

Dr. Carl not only is all of those things, but, much more. He listens to his patients and takes their concerns into consideration. He's gentle and kind. Most important, he guided me through a series of spinal injections which were not guaranteed to relive my severe pain, however, my pain was gone almost immediately after the last injections. That was unusual, but, a pleasant surprise. The relief may last only 6-12 months. But, for now, I can live a normal life. Thank you Dr. Carl. Myrna Wydeven

Incredible physician! He is extremely thorough. His bedside manner is impeccable! He is kind, compassionate, highly intelligent, and keeps up with all the latest and research. He works closely with you to develop a treatment plan and his outcomes are outstanding!

Honestly, my first impression was "he's pushing me too hard". I've been on heavy pain meds for 5 years following cervical fusion and ongoing back issues and after moving from another state where narcotic drugs are not as rigidly controlled as OK, I thought perhaps he didn't believe me when I articulated the extent of my pain. I was wrong. Dr. Carl simply wanted me to try to reduce my intake level...not a bad thing, but it frightened me. Since getting to know him better, I find him to be extraordinarily caring about the overall health of his patients. He routinely spends a half hour with me answering all my questions and seeking ways to reduce my pain level without adding more medications, and he often spends time on personal matters like travel etc. I find this highly unusual in a physician and I welcome it.

Dr Carl seems to genuinely care when I see him. He seems to listen well and spends as much time with me as I need. The wait time in the office is usually incredibly long, but has gotten better. There is sometimes a communication disconnect between him and his staff that can cause problems. It usually takes a very long time for his staff to make referral or procedure appointments, which can be extremely frustrating.

He was running over 2 hours behind, & had the nerve to hurry me along while explaining my complaints. He was just plain creepy. He looks creepy, acts creepy & his staff was just as rude as he. I wouldn't go back to him if he were the last M.D. on the planet.

Being New to needs of pain management, we have found this Doctor to be of the highest regards. Specializing in Neurological Pain Disorders among other pain related ailments, Dr. Carl is one of the states finest. His ability and bedside manor are unmatched. As well as his caring and soothing demeanor. Dr. Carl will leave you with a sense of better understanding and mental stability through out all of you're pain management needs. He is also one of the few Pain management Specialists in Oklahoma that understands Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, and your needs during long term treatment of this and many other pain related medical needs. If my Wife and I was able to give higher then 4 star ratings, believe me. We'd be topping the charts!
