Dr. Michael Cary Goodman, MD

I have had good experiences with this doctor. He is a little no nonsense but he will answer any questions and explain things with sensitivity. I never thought I'd have a male obgyn but I feel really safe and comfortable with him. He diagnosed a problem that had been giving me some problems for a couple of years that others had not investigated.

Dr. Michael Goodman is an outstanding physician. I have always been able to talk to him and get my problems resolved. Some issues may take awhile, but he keeps trying and working with me. Most importantly, I know if I ever have to leave him a message, he always returns my call! I am fortunate to have him as my physician and my friend! Thank you. MB

Dr. Goodman has been by physician for over 30 years. During that time I can come to value his advice and frank opinions. When I have had questions regarding various medical procedures or general questions he has always provided the necessary answers.

He is the worst Doctor that I ever seen. He has no patient to answer my questions. His attitude was arrogant.After 2 minutes consultation, he was ready to leave, and when I continually ask questions he seemed impatient. He is un-knowledgeable. he didn't ask me the really basic and necessary question before he made a judgement. Later when I pointed out, he realized he made a huge mistake but he showed a really rude attitude. Everything he sad you can easily google online. You can even find more when you ask google than see him. I end up paying more than $500 for one time useless and unhappy visit experience. And the most important thing is my symptom was not been treated. I visited lots of doctors for different issues, but as long as the doctor helped solve problem, or unable to solve but you can tell doctor was wailing to help, I always think he/she is a good or reasonable good doctor. Because bottom line is you don't want to waste your money and waste your treatable time on an unknowledgeable and unskillable Doctor.

When I want warm and fuzzy, I go to my mother. When I want a great OB/GYN, I go to Michael Goodman. He tries to get you in and out, but if you have questions - just ask and he will answer every single one of them. I followed him to his new practice and drive a lot further now to see him, but it is worth it. He has been my doc for 18 years and I'll be with him until he retires. The staff could use help, but no office is perfect.

Dr Michael Goodman delivered my baby in 1993 he severed all the nerves in my rectum, denied it, had no bedside manners and I am still 20 years later living with a permanent colostomy = this man ruined my life. Had to give one star to get rating but he does not deserve that

bedside manor is just not lacking, there was never a sign of it.

Dr.Goodman has been my obgyn for 30 years!Always a great doctor-he has now joined OBGYN Assoc.-LOVE IT-they have a lab,bone density test, ultrasound- one stop no running around.He called with the results and always there to answer my questions. Office staff was professional and helpful.

I would not hesitate to recommend Dr.Goodman . He is a terrific surgeon and has taken care of me for many years.

He has no bedside manner. I was a new patient and he did not make me feel at ease whatsoever. He made no eye contact and did not shake my hand when he greeted me. I felt as though he was fishing for gold when he did the exam and he was very brash and rude. I will never return to this clinic again.

I will never return to this practice. I was a patient there for almost 10 years and never had a bad experience until I was pregnant and the subsequent miscarriage. There is too much to list, but Dr. Goodman (who was not my doctor) actually approached me in the waiting room to discuss my symptoms in front of other patients. I filed a complaint to no avail. The last straw was after the miscarriage I was supposed to have protected sex and was suggested by doctor Poshni to use birth control such as Condoms and the Withdrawal Method. I hope they still teach that is not a viable form of birth control to any kid over the age of eight in schools! What an idiot. Now they want me to pay to have my records transfer and I am refusing and getting my lawyer involved. Very disapointed in a practice I spent so many years at.

My first impression with Dr. Goodman was not a pleasant one. It seems like he was not concern of my condition, and kept me waiting, while I was sitting in his office. When you went in the office, it seems like you are in a fast food restaurant, you get in and get out. No bedside mannners, and I felt like I did not have his fullest attention at all.

The billing department is a JOKE and made several mistakes. Like asking me why was I there and what they should bill me under. I'm a patient not a code instructor. If you don't know your job than don't try and cover up your mistakes. I would suggest that the front staff be more professional and not argue in front of the patients or about the patient in ear shot distance. In stead of taking pictures of your patients to remember who they are.You may try to read the charts so you remember why you scheduled them for a visit. Why ask them why they are there? It should be in your notes on your labtop, that you told me to come back over and over again for no reason just to say ok come back in a week or two. You take my money but cant remember my name and your staff cant remember to read a chart before they start to prep me for the wrong procedure.

I was a patient at Contemporary OB/GYN, LLC while pregnant with my son. I only saw Dr. Goodman once and thought he was rude and condescending. Unfortunately, when I delivered my baby, he was the doctor on call. He was incredibly rude and uninterested in me or my labor. In fact, when I delivered my son, he wasn't even in the room. The nurse was yelling for him while she delivered my baby. Others told me he was outside of the room chatting with another nurse. The after care was much worse. I will NEVER go back to this practice for fear of having him as a doctor again.

Rushed, rude, unprofessional. No care for comfort, manners or care. I'd never ever go here again. The front office woman was rude, wouldn't stop talking on the phone about how she likes her boyfriends to look which chomping on chips, and treated me like an annoyance whenever I had to ask her a question and interrupt her call. Horrible place.
