Dr. Michael Jablon, MD

Dr. Jablon operated on my hands twice prior to 2010 for Dupuytren's Contracture. He has an excellent bedside manner, is extremely knowledgeable and is very patient in explaining what surgery can and cannot achieve. Since I once again live in the Chicago area and need additional hand surgery, I of course will use Dr. Jablon.

I saw him after seeing two other orthopedic surgeons, I had two hand surgeries and my problem was not solved. On the first visit he realized I was misdiagnosed and the previous surgery was actually not necessary. His bedside manner is unlike any physician. He spends a tremendous amount of time with the patient. His nurses call back right away.

Dr. Michael Jablon is a caring doctor who has achieved that rare combination of a skilled surgeon with a perfectly balanced bedside manner. Concerned, warm, and friendly, Dr. Jablon listened carefully as I expressed my worry about being able to get back in the pool as soon as possible, while allowing the necessary healing time for my broken thumb. Hearing this concern, Dr. Jablon suggested a surgical technique that might heal quicker. Under his watchful eye, patience paid off, and my thumb is fully functional and pain-free.

awesome Dr. I'm sure. But I consider it disrespectful to be left in a room for an hour when I was courteous enough to show up on time for an appointment. Twice in a row I waited at least 50 minutes

I have seen Dr. Jablon for a broken wrist and a sprained hand muscle. Both occasions, he took the time I needed to explain my diagnosis and what treatment I needed. His staff is professional but still friendly and the office is very accomodating. I had a great recovery from a wrist fracture that may have required surgery initially, but it was too late by the time I saw Dr. Jablon after coming home from Colorado. I highly recommend him and his staff, and the physical therapist in the office was top notch.

Following up as needed after my visit for enormous charges when nothing actually was done is awesome!Then lying to me first that they submitted charges to insurance, then that they don't and put me on collection is great practice! Go jablon!
