Awesome Dr with great staff and bedside manner! I was treated with respect and my issue was resolved. Would definitely recommend Dr Tucker to anyone needing an orthopedist.

Dr Tucker is a very caring and thorough. I have seen him several times for a workers comp injury to my knee and had surgery with him. His staff is very efficient and understanding. On the occasion I may of had to wait past my time it was due to an emergency. The staff was very apologetic and kept me informed. It not fun to wait, but it would help if people understood that if it were them in the Emergency situation they would want the doctors full attention as well. Don't criticize health care employees for doing their job. I work in healthcare and you never know what is coming in the door or if you will get a break for lunch or go home on time. It is not a 9-5 to job. Dr Tucker has always been apologetic if I have had to wait. His mannerisms make him an excellent physician. I would recommend him and Hughston Clinic to anyone.

The staff are ignorant and rude. The Dr.Michael M. Tucker, Jr., is a veterinary. Rude he does not threat the patient right neither does his job,. My daughter was hit by a car broken foot and arm The ER in Opelika did not have any supply to use on her and said she need to go to a Orthopaedic Doctor. So we looked for one but We forgot to check on the doctors reviews. That specific dr. Michael M. Tucker, Jr., MD for me heis a veterinary dr. DO NOT GO TO SEE HIM because if you need a surgery you will be out with a horse shoes. He is one of the worse dr. I ever seen. He did not want to put a protecting shoes on her. I ask to see the x.ray he was not happy to show me and said the injury was not shown on the x.ray. She had severe pain on her chest I called back and he was on call. He called me back I asked him why he did not ex--x-ray her chest. He just aid she need to go to the ER. They charged my daughter 130 dollars and she was not supposed to have any copay due the accident our health insurance paid for everything 72 hours whitin the accident. They did not let us leave till we have paid the 130. I filled a complain against him and that CLinic with ou Health Ins.I gave a him a piece of my mind and told him he needs to work in a farm not deal with humans. She had for follow up but We chose to go to Mobile and see our ORthopaedic Dr. He x-ray her foot and arm and she has 2 fractures on her foot very visible and her arm the radius bone was broken the head the bone was completly veritcal cross broken . Dr. Tucker is very professional and caring. I am currently under his care as well as a number of years ago.

As a Doctor I trust It . Micheal Tucker completely...I feel I can talk freely with Dr. Tucker about any issues may be having..I think he is a kind and caring Doctor

After arriving, the receptionist was equally professional and courteous. My whole experience afterwards was very pleasant. Dr. Tucker has been the most diligent and straight forward ortho I have had. He is eager to find a solution and does not push surgery unless he feels it’s 100% necessary as all other means have either failed or will be unable to help. Will recommend him to anyone I know that needs an orthopedist!

Dr. Tucker is one of the best doctors of any kind that I have ever dealt with. I'm 76 yrs. old, and that covers a lot of doctors. He genuinely cares about his patients, and treats them like family. He takes the time to explain everything concerning you condition, and giving you the options for treatment. Even though he is a surgeon, he tries to solve your problem without surgery if at all possible. I would not consider using another doctor in his specialty under any circumstances.

Dr. Tucker performed my total knee replacement one month ago and I am very happy with results so far .I still have some healing to do .I would highly recommend Dr. Tucker he was very thorough on everything he has done.

Outstanding Surgeon, Both surgeries went extremely well, Great Doctor, Caring Staff and Facilities were amazing.

He reattached a bicept arm tendon that works fine and operated on a knee that is nearing replacement but he cleared up several problems so that it will last a few more years. Excellent surgeon and a fine man.

I have been to a lot of doctors but this is the first time going to a doctor that actually takes his time and helps me to understand what i need. The nurses that works with him are so nice and always is ready and willing to make me comfortable and get me everything I need.
