Dr. Michael Wayne Maxwell, MD

Unless you're going to the ER to be completely humiliated, he's not the doctor for you. Instead of looking at my flagged lab results that were concerning he treated me like I was a huge waste of his time. He was practically laughing at me while saying I had "a nice story" as to what I thought could be wrong with me. I'm not a doctor so I just took a guess at what was causing my issues. It was his job to find the answer and he obviously felt like I was just a waste of his time. He made me feel like a hypochondriac or a drug seeker even though I had a medical past and didn’t once ask for pain medication. The previous ER doctor orderd it and then when she asked later if I wanted more I said I was fine and didn't need it. The next shift nurse got me more without me asking becauseof my blood pressure or something, I dont know. She just came in with it. I have multiple medical issues that were just completely ignored and I feel completely humiliated. No worries though because now my PCP will be getting my results so I can get my answer. Dr. Maxwell should not be a practicing ER doctor with his awful bedside manner and rude uncaring attitude. He deserves 0 stars!

Dr. Maxwell was working as the Emergency Room doctor for the Taylor, Scott and White Hospital. He was very professional and caring.
