Dr Michael Herman Morris

The office waiting room was packed on my arrival at 9:35am for a 9:40am appointment. I was called to stage 1 testing at 10:40. Fortunately, I met a nice couple and we had a great conversation. Time passed quickly. Movement continued to be slow through the other stages before meeting with Dr. Morris at 12:35pm. He gave me a thorough exam and we discussed my current eye condition. Prior to leaving the office, I scheduled my yearly appointment for May of 2025.

Dr Morris has been very helpful for my wife's glaucoma, and my cataract surgery. I recommend him highly. He is very thorough and professional. I feel lucky we have him for our eye doctor.

Have been with Dr. Morris for many years and have been very pleased with the care I have received. Only problem I had was with the wait time (about an hour) before I saw anyone but that seems to be the norm in Ocala today.

Dr Morris and his staff are very professional, knowledgeable, pleasant and explain the purpose of all tests. Dr. Morris answers questions while reviewing the results of exam. Very satisfied.

Visit was pleasant & informative. Dr Michael Morris answered all my questions as to my cateract surgery recovery and what to do to have a positive healing. He was patient. Office wait time was 20 minutes.

Doctor Morris is one of the best doctors I have ever had ( covering 30+ years). His surgical capabilities are the best. He closely checks & rechecks immediately after surgery , schedules necessary follow on visits. He takes time to explain any possible problems you must be aware of, and what you must do. His mannerism and total approach puts you at ease. fmk

Great staff, great facility. Never felt rushed throughout a VERY thorough exam. I’ve never been treated to such a complete examination. Dr. Morris spent time a couple times during the exam, and was very good at explaining results and what to expect. Would definitely recommend.

Their testing is very thorough and uses advanced equipment. Dr Morris explains your condition in detail.

The staff at Ocala Eye are personable and efficient. Dr. Morris is excellent and explains everything about what the exam finds.

The exam was very good but I was 2 hours before getting done and to find out he no longer wants anyone that doesn’t need surgery! A shame as I’ve had him for a number of years! It’s not our fault that Ocala is getting more and more retirees coming south! I need a MD doctor as I’m a diabetic and my doctor asked me to go to MD! Disappointed!!
